I met Freddie E. Williams II before his DC times and I can honestly tell you that he's genuinely a nice guy. My wife introduced us and he showed me how he created penciled and inked comic pages with Photoshop. He was able to complete a comic book (25-35 pages) pencil and ink within a month...while at the same time working a 8-5 full time job. Hard working and super friendly he teamed up with DC and shows you how he does it. I see a lot of threads about "how to create comics with photoshop". Well maybe this book Digital Comics is for you.

I created a high resolution digital comic template complete with trim marks and guides... and just for viewing this post, its yours if you want. Here is a low res preview. Download the .PDF high res version in the attachment.

Yeah got this from amazon today ( along with James Gurney's Imaginative Realism) both great reads.
Saw it the other week in my bookstore. I'm tempted to get sometime. Should be helpful even if you aren't going completely digital (had info on working with scanned art at various stages, like pencils or inks).
