I've been lurking around here for a while in kind of "read only" modus. I never made a post. I was too scared and too shy.
Then somebody told me to get out of my shell and start. So I'm doing now.
I haven't visited any art schools or classes or something. I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. Every child does, but the most of them stop as they grow older. I didn't.
I started to draw fantasy stuff in 2001. I think I improved much since 2001, but now I feel I can't get better if I stick in my old ways. I feel it is time to ask others for guidance.
I am no way a good artist. But I want to be one, and I know that hours, days, weeks and probably years of hard work are awaiting me. I hope I will learn something new here.
Now I moved my art to a personal gallery. It resulted in many broken links, but it was necessary.
Oh well, it's time for a large update.
My very first real attempt at painting with gouache. I liked it much.
A real quick painting just to see how the paint works on this kind of paper.
My first A4 painting with gouache. The cheetah is a bit too massive for a cheetah, but heck...
Oh, erh. Yes. I don't like anthros. But as I'm attending the EuroFurence this year I have to paint at least a few...
Something for myself and of myself...
A painting for a contest someone I know holds. It is his character... the colours are weird, but I'm not the one to blame. I love the background on this one, but the dragon turned out rather crappy.
