Looking great, Davi!!!
playing around with a brush from sandman
nice work davi, if u ever want to oc, it works great with 2 ppl, over that it crashes, just let me know in mIRC, in mIRC my name is still burning eyes, but yea, im always up for ocin, i love drawing with other ppl, makes me produce better work... 5 stars for the thread, love your work
that brush looks pretty badass.
Almost everything you seem to do has a pure white light source, and a lot of the time your images are overexposed. Also, you seem to work on white backgrounds a fair amount. I'd like to see what you can do working from a toned background and using a colored lightsource only taking your highest value to like ~85% pure white.
keep up the good work davi, you drawz neet thingz

like the new brush style lookes like chunky oil paint...
and you seem to be cretaing a graphic novel with the BW narrrative. is hard to look at the aRtz cause the story is so violent... but it is beautifully told. visually gripping.
To see the world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wildflower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.
btw if you check my signature, im sharing my painter brushes and i have a tutorial for texturing in painter, hope it can help people out there.

1hour 30minute IRC challenge, topic was "urban shaman".
hey davi, *cough* looking great and loving your work. well I know how WACK you are so that's probably where all that crazy stuff comes from. envy your imagination! I do notice that you seem to be blending just about everything tho, maybe leave some hard casting shadows too? cheers!
your colors are awsome, whenever i paint i just pick random ones and hope they work out, but yours are really solid. keep it up, and dont be afraid to try diffrent styles, challenge yourself
btw: i think i might have seen you in san francisco
yo davi, had fun on vent the other day. Just stoping by to see whats goin on here. All the stuff is looking really great lately. I especially like the colors in the last piece. heh, is that the same brush that gave you troubles?
I really love the 1hour IRC challenge of the girl-thing with glowing eyes. Great expression. Was it meditated or did it just happen that way?
Anyway I am a total n99b at painter, PS and all else on the computer so no crit from me (in fact I saved you color info::: one day it's going to come into good practice ) so until then ... keep up the good work
---:::the eye of the beholder:::---
jens: high key eh? Its something i def should work on, but its not something i truely see myself enjoying.
bumskee: i thought i was using cast shadows... hmm maybe its just my brushes again limiting me..
myalias: you saw me in san fran? at the workshop or was i just walking around confused and dazed?
Wake101: the brush WAS giving me troubles, but i've altered it enough so that it works great for me now, much easier to control.
b.one: thanks, im not sure what you mean by the expression being meditated or not? for most of my IRC thunderdomes theres not much to truely think about before head when i only have about an hour to do something, so i tend to just go with the flow.
Here's another piece, i had alot of fun painting the figure with the forced perspective but i had no clue what i wanted to do for a scene and it started to fall apart after the more and more i worked on it, i hope you can find something good left in it :|
hey davi i did a paint over to try to help express some of my suggestions/crits.
some of this stuff might be flatout wrong, i dont really know, but i hope this helps express my thoughts.
and ya it was at the workshop

myalias that was the most hopeful crit ive been given on a single image in along time, thanks so much. THere was a point when i just started completely loosing faith in the image and just started to snap, but ill go back to it with your help and try to hit it out of the park.
love your work!but i don't down your brushes?help me.thanks!
this piece only uses the brushes you can download from my signature, and i used a texture of a hires photo of baked bread crust that i found from the wiki texture section.

Ok, these don't suck, i'll give you that..
If i were to crit i'd say that the tail doesnt look natural with the bend on the middle there. I also think the feet look a little clumsy.
