its so intriguing
can't wait to see it finished O_O
Zeitwolf: thank you helped a lot. i took saturation out and it helped a lot.
alexson: thanks alexson.
ryanoir: haha you're too nice. here's and update!
gamertag: mattg4m3r on xbox live if you wanna play me sometime. only a month though lol
The character looks amazing, I love the 4 by 4 rubics cube he's carrying. must be difficult to complete
lovin ur colors man. and good to see u still keepin up with workin ur sweet bod
my subconscious does not stop begging my conscious to draw.
hmm does that mean im a slave to my subconscious?
at least it doesnt beg for crack. ha.
hey dude, the character looks a lot more life-like. however, the lighting now becomes confusing, like he's in a weird spotlight that's not really powerful. i think the character looks much better, just what's the story you're trying to tell with him? the background can help to bring that out.
i think, as well, you need to start working with more dynamic poses for your characters. it will help people connect to them more, and connect them in a world.
my 2 yen. keep up the good work, man, keep pushing yourself.
Luckers: thanks! hehe yes i know. when he's bored he can work it!
mrd33ds: yes, but only 3 times a week. the bod is already in peak shape. thanks
towy: i am always cheerful! ;] thank you
Fetsch: yes i agree. thanks!
purb36: gracias your critiques are hard but very rewarding.
Metal Fingers: you are NOICE! and ok!
ok i stared playing battlefield bad company 2 multiplay and it's so much fun. 3 hours flew by like nothing. i started following these guys on my team and they showed me secret camping spots. even one in a tree. haha it's like oldschool days when i used to play in the woods.
anyways. studies and i took my character down to grey then built colors back on him again. better to revise than to leave it like crap (which it still is)!

hmm nice hand gestures, your going to be a pro at those in no time . I feel sad for your CHOW, looked like a good concept, FRIKEN COLOURS! But goodluck with the COW! Looks promising.
ryanoir: ITS NOT A PENIS! hahaha thanks
Not_Deadman: thanks bro
Jeremy Swan: aw thanks, yeah. i'm scared of colors!
Metal Fingers: your wish is my command!
my first COW. he's so HUGE (TWSS)! haha
I actually prefer the saturated CHOW in post #1923! I suppose if you wanted it to be more realistic it wasn't appropriate but damn it if the colours didn't rock!
Love the warbeast design! GO GO MATT!
lens flare renaissance
Your earth creature rumbles my world. I really like the concept, would like to see this guy in action/war or something, can people or inhabitants of that planet ride these creatures? whats their function? Do they benefit the planet or reek havoc? Paint some baby versions of them as well and show scale :3
Koto: haha thanks. i liked the saturation too. where's your updates? common update!!!
Odayga: they reek havoc and destroy everything by the titan's command. thank you!
working on a frazetta piece. fun!
Positive Thoughts for Positive People...where words become reality!!!
Great updates Matt, your colourful chow version really stood out but its great that you kept at it instead of leaving it and thinking it would be ok, inspiring man! and great approach to the COW really fresh ideas.
hey matt! so many updates good revising on the CHOW piece-- he has character ^^ i notice you're employing the same technique with the COW piece as you did with the silhouette character studies on the previous page. awesome!
You are doing cool shit lately man. I been missin a lot since I been gone!
That COW is pretty sexy, where did you get that technique?
Just have fun.
boafamily: thank you! glad you recognize it!
fudgeloaf: yes fresh is how i'm trying to keep it. thanks
Odayga: thanks it's not mine, it's frazettas!
fionkell: will do!
Metal Fingers: yeah alex, yea
teapo: yes you recognize that! ;] working things out, trying everything instead of staying stuck in only one way. thanks!
Aveh: uhm, maybe from him. sooo aweosme. thanks!!!
i went to my first figure drawing session and failed miserably. i only caught on at the end when i didn't use charcoal. i don't know how to work the charcoal to my liking yet! more practice! it was good and the model was considerate of us. i will try to go every wednesday night and get pictures of my work up on here via my camera.
busy busy with work, this is what i spawned today (besides my sketchbook drawings in Jack in the Box for lunch).
lol @ 1911 youtube filters and google's april fools joke. any others please share with me!
Keep it up with the hand studies and studies overall mister, really like where your work is going
