"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Well, something quite "cheering-up" has happened to me today.
I've been at grandma's house, due to her birthday. We've ended up talking about art, and about some little painting she's got in the dining room, in a photo frame. I asked who was the author, and she told me to open the frame in order to check it at the back of the paper.
I've removed the backside of the frame.. and I've found a little piece of paper which said:
"Wednesday, November 1st 2000. No one will know I've hidden this piece of paper here!
David Abrodos, 11 years old".
So, I'm just coming back from a little time-travel.
I get to see that a lot in 3ds max. I have plenty of 130% renders that never finished. It's the only glitch that makes me laugh instead of angry.
This song cheers me up

And you people thought it was impossible...
Cool site that shows comics and illustrations from their sketch stage all the way to completion. Not a lot of content currently but some cool works to watch as they develop.
My favorite is the Adam Hughes power girl illustration!
...my humble and uneducated opinion.
More Youtube fun...

I don't think this has been posted:
I have never heard of this film or the books it's based on (apparently in teh vein of Watership Down), but...owls! Awww made my mood lift heh
Looks like it's done by Animal Logic (of ""Happy Feet" and various VFX for films fame) so got Aussie voice actors in it.
That trailer seems so weird to me. Trying to describe it to someone earlier. "Armored owls fighting eachother"
