Good job dude
My sketch book
^ that made me laugh. hard. xD
Very nice sketchbook. I really like how you use your colors. *_* Makes me kinda jealous.
Iono if you've heard this before, but I read your posts in Mugen's voice because of your avatar. ._.
Some pretty lame Wips. Runnin on empty folks, runnin on empty.
1. water jelly thing (I have little shame these days, i'll post even the junk)
2. crypt gazer, trying to make this more interesting compositionally, I'm lost/stumped. I don't know much about good compositions and design. I'd appreciate any links/tuts.
Off I go. Thanks for the comments guys, and I don't sound nearly as awesome as Mugen unfortunately. But feel free to pretend.
post #18 has some seriously impressive stuff.
Keep up the good work - don't think I have anything useful to say :p
edit: resized all of them.
Anyways, here's some stuff. The 3rd one is the only one with a title really, which is 'dog of war'.

speedpaint and another housee.
I like your detail, which is why i wish you'd post bigger images. All the little ones just makes everything seem unimportant. I don't know if that makes sense but these last ones stand out a lot more to me.
resized the images, I'll post them bigger from now on.
Right on bro, Awesome work
Diggin' on the textures you got goin' on! Really like the crypt gazer! Would like to see you develop it further
thanks matt and dcept.
Great sketches. That last hut really rocks.
I second the hut comment, I'm enjoying your brushwork man! May I ask which brushes you are using or where did ya find them
Sketchbook!! Please help me improve!
Thanks guys, the brushes are just some ones I made. I've been playing around with one particular set of settings that lays down some interesting variation but I haven't until now gotten a chance to really use them because they were crashing photoshop.
from yesterday, a starcraft/aliens themed marine pic. 'HEY!... Everything OK down there?...''

''End of the peace''
And more! Must be a triple full moon folks.
Wow, very interesting concepts. I like the whole robot warrior/Monster ideas. As well as those creepy look'n creatures. Awsome work. Ur use of color is also inspiring. Hey, if u ever find time, come to my page and check out my work (I'm new here) Thanks.
I think I see what you mean by being too technical. I should just straight into colour and push the pixels/pigment around, while listening to music. Do you start from colour straight away or paint in mutes and build up value and saturation?
it always seems like your paintings of environments are detail shots of a much bigger illustration. Do you feel you're working your way up to that with these paintings?
End of Peace is really great. If you could bring the other side of his headdress into the shot it and even out the crop it'd be a perfect, finished render with good composition. It reminds me of an oil paint, with a definite focal point (face).
wow love the textures on the figures and creatures But I have to say it looks odd with the environments. Different materials behave differently when it's affected by light. So maybe try to do studies on that because it looks like they are all made in hay.
Lovely use of colors!
END OF THE PEACE ROCKS!!! I think you just cropped that from a bigger image?
I also love how some of the lighting was done. It pops where it'ssupposed to. That dude in the May 8 post was also great!
I really enjoyed the different creatures and various shapes you have in your sb.
I do think you should pay a bit more attention to composition though, cos a lot of the pics seem rather uncoördinated in that area. It also makes it harder to focus on anything in the pix that have more than just a character in them. Plan your paintings better.
You've got some very cool ideas!
