Meatsworthy: Awesome seeing you here man! The rest will recieve minimal colouring in photoshop - just to make it look dirty. Follow *my* advice? Honoured dude, hope I'm not screwing you over this way!
Dile: Hey buddy! Thanx for dropping by and muchothanx for that vote of confidence mate! Really honoured, I feel so overrated - like Jackson Pollock lol. Thanx dude, really appreciate it!
oma: Hey man thanx. No such thing as "looking wrong" - you were definitely right abou the nose, and as I promised I've tried to fix it up some!
Meatsworthy: Thanx dude but I must admit your took the cake - the warrior dude looked fan-fucking-tastic in thumbnail view - still does!
Ulver: Thanx dude, glad you like the lighting man! Still need to fix that red line up - make the head look a bit distorted! Thanx for dropping by man 0 appreciate the props mate!
isair: YOU! gave me that idea. To make the eyes black. Thanx - think it turned out a bit better than white ones. Black eyes freak me out lol. Fixing up the blood and going for something more textury. Thanx for dropping some props mate - appreciate it!
Asoir: Thanx man, I'm light obsessed so I'm glad to hear you like the lighting! Cheers for stopping by man!

Dile: thanx dude; will do!
K, forgive if this update is a bit screwy, but I'm going to use the attachment thing for the first time now.
Not much of an update but I wanted to get something on this page: First one is just a fun speedy with crappy colours and the second is a very minor miniscule update on the painting.
EDIT: K, the updates seem to working, tell me if there's any problems - my computer as different setting so often I don't see problems. Thanx!

Yo D, glad to see your finally getting some colour in your work lol.
That one in the left is freaky as hell, now your hitting up my world hehe. I know its a speed painting, but his left arm looks a bit.."wonky". The perspective could use some work, which would also help out the stiffness of the character a bit. Still, very nice concept.
That one on the right is also interesting. I love the face, especially the whole black/white and red all over thing nice touch (thinking about it now, you try messing with a red background?). I think it would look even better if the background was rendered in a different colour...mabey even toned down a bit so it doesnt match with the face.
Very nice update, glad to see your on page 4 already
keep it up bro!
That black eyes and detailed blood from the mouth make this paintings really grim one - I like it much better now! On the other pic - palette and background are impressive. Keep it up, man! I`m waiting for finished pieces!
yeah,, again a update... realy! i every day looking forward to a new update from some people. and you are one of them... like you work as i said 100 time's before.
Hey demented its always nice to see that you are posting keep up the good work
Just call me Ferdi
Hey man, interestin set these two.
The first seems a bit 'lurchy' and stiff as though he's a zombie under that armor. Also in terms of color, if you tried droppin in some complimentary shadows..it might make him pop a bit more, might work better than just relying on black.
In terms of the mask/face bloody thing...in terms of construction...the far side is a bit wonky to me, looks like the eye is bulging out the socket. But these were probably done pretty quickly. Keep those painter test images rollin in.
well, 30 voters and 4.48 in average, I can tell you you are NOT overated! keep it up! I like the last one, its very unusually to see those types of concepts from you! wich is a good thing! keep up the variations and you'll go far!
Looking good !
The first one could use a bit more attention on some details for the hand. And some dark on the armor would be welcome
But overall, it's nice. Good work on the colors.
The second one is nice. I like the mood in it.
Keep it coming !
Colors in the speedy are working well. I am also diggin the brushwork.
Lightingwise, if backlit like that, I would expect almost all of the figure to be in shadow with only the rims catching light, and the front getting reflected light off the ground in front of him. From what I see, most people like to put their lightsource just off the canvas, unless the specifically want backlit conditions.
Yo dudes - overwhelmed by this response!
Thestjester: Thanx dude! Yeah, struggling with getting good poses right now, busy brushing up some anatomy hopefully that will fix things up a tad. The problem with a red background is it attracts too much attention, but it will definitely recieve some colour - likely a rusty browny look. thanx for dropping by and for the props mate - much appreciated!
Ulver: Sup man, thanx for the props! Glad you find it grim - my intention perfectly. You'll have to wait some before you'll find anything finished - after all, art is always about beginning, never about finishing - as Mentler says lol.
oma: Thanx dude - flattered that you like my stuff so much! cheers for dropping by again!
Listing: thanx for dropping by mate, though I'm not sure what you mean by clarifying values. In my books value is not clarified, it clarifies - would be glad if you could explain a bit more clearly - thanx! And cheers for dropping by mate!
Ferdinand: Shot, thanx dude! Will do, cheers for dropping by mate. Keep up the hard work there too bro.
Helzon: Sup man! Agree with you on the complimentary colour - actually had some purple in the and it looked really good but it a bit lost (can still see some of it in the bottom right.) And yeah that eye need fixing but it's a really wierd angle, so I'll have to take some time and really get into it sometime. Thanx for dropping by mate!
Dile: Thanx buddy - really appreciate those kind words of yours so much! Thanx for the props and for dropping by man!
Recursive: Thanx dude - appreciate the props. More detail would be welcome, but I promised not to go over my timelimit. In all, it's practice to start working much faster. Glad you like the second - cheers for dropping by man!
Meatsworthy: Awesome to see you here mate - humbled that you like the brushwork, that's quite something coming from you! The lighting is definitely off, but having this dark sillhouette wouldn't have done anything for this pic, so I was trying to get round some ambient lighting. Will have to work more with it, as well as reflected light. Anyways, muchothanx for dropping by mate!
Only one pic for now, another doodle, "Fragments"
Hope you like, c+c welcome of course!
argh, now I really gotta now dude, what pencils are you useing ?

Hey demented , welcome to the group
You have really wonderful stuff here, your life drawings are great and the speedies >.< makes me to open painter again, my only crit at the moment would be to put more attention into details but anyway good stuff , keep it up
HEy bro long time no see,
I like it .The 4th page huh.You are moving very fast.Igotta say I love your digis and the overall compostions. But I still think that you need to work on your lineflow.
Take care and godspeed.
shoot man, youre flying through the pages!
Ive noticed, that when rendering the ladies, a very smooth render is necessary, not being too hard on the contrast but gently pulling the curves and angles.
keep doing what your doing
looks realy cool. again. and no problem for liking your stuff so much. the pleasure is mine
Hey man, welcome to the ssg. You have some very nice digi's here! There's not a lot I can crit on really, you already seem to do most if not all of what I usually find wrong in peoples drawing. So I guess all I can say right now is keep it up, man.
