Glad to have found your SB, a very unique look and feel to your artwork, and lots of confidence with your pencils. Keep sharing, I'm sure enjoying the energy in your work!
Progress: starting on environment.
It's been a while since I posted 100Things items... so let's get caught up....
Thing 64: Gethsemene.
Thing 65: Lord Shabbat
Thing 66: Peter vs. The Storm
definitely one I need to redo.
Thing 67: Transfiguration
Thing 68: Greatest Commandment
This might be my most weak sauce entry of all the 100Things.
Thing 69: Martha and Mary
Thing 70: The Way of the Cross
Thing 71: Day and Hour Unknown
Thing 72: The Last Supper
I'm behind on this month's PencilJack.com PUMMEL entry. But here it is. Theme: A Girl and Her Mech.
So here's the final on this month's PUMMEL.
Here away from the voting I can admit that I hate it. It's sloppy, rushed, under-concepted and so far from the visual I had on 9/1 that it feels like a total failure to me. Gratefully the voters so far don't live in my head and are unaware of my total disdain for this entry.
This is meant to be a companion piece to this:
Master Dubu! Your progress on your biblical scenes is impressive, you come up with great images and angles, and your use of negative space on many of them gives a lot of impact.
But i'm really enjoying your experiments with the halftone screen effect, i can't wait to see more of it!
Keep it up dude, you're on a roll~
Very nice unique style. Very inspirational. Keep it up!
As to the negative space, that's mostly because they are slides for sermon notes to be framed on.
And now: Getting caught up on commission work.
Loving the lines in this one, especially around the hood. What are your tools of the trade man?
Another commission. I don't normally do portraits but she insisted.
WIP: Someone asked me to do a She-Hulk. Seemed like a good idea since my sb is devoid of Super-Hero(in)es and it'll force me to draw a different body type than I enjoy.
Progress on PUMMEL
Progress on this month's PUMMEL. Not sure what to do it over the next 3 days.
Thanks Magnus. Welcome to the SB.
Today's image is maybe the first superhero I've put in my SB. You knew it'd have to be a strong female character How about one of the strongest? Here's my She-Hulk (totally Leifielding her right foot. Need to fix ASAP). I might have gone a little ChunLi in the thighs.
This is one of those that by the time the final came around I was far less satisfied with than I was when my mind imagined where the pencils were going.
