the new posts from your sketchbook are absolutely inspiring
Dude, damn good to see ya back! Please don't be shy, keep the posts comin.
It really shows how much you've developed as an artist. One thing that really stands out from your previous pages is how alike most of your characters are -- Now you have a much wider range of characters and it is really amazing to see! Your sense of form has developed as well!
Thank you! Hope to see some more stuff soon!
A dream became true, wes is posting again!
I am so thankful for that, please dont stop! ;-D
WOW, How do you come up with these sketches, do you see these people in the street, do you take photographs for reference, how do you do it, I want to learn, I practice, but I havent really poseted anything in my skecthbook, I really need my own scanner, I think your sketches are amazing, breathtaking, where do you get your inspiration from, so amazing, Thanks.

Yes, what GeGe said.
Please take the time to give me some constructive criticism in my Sketchbook
heyhey thanks for all the comments! and thanks to all the people that picked up the massive black book! its greatly appreciated
anyways..heres a couple images i dont think have been posted up on here before...just some fairly quick digital sketches. im'a try to hit up a scanner in the next couple days to come with a bigger update
anyways...this first one is just from fiddling around in photoshop while waiting for feedback between projects... just trying out some different brushed and stuff. its partially from reference, partially made up.
the next two are digital life drawings from a couple events towards the end of last year...painted from live models in front of some pretty big audiences...really an exercise of getting the image established fairly quickly. i hadnt tried digital life painting before this, but it works really well in the situation.
Wes, these are absolutely beautiful! I've always loved your simple used of values in your digital work. Hope you're well!!

awesome update, Wes.
Wow, those are great! I love the elegance of th first one!!
Beautiful stuff as always, Wes! I also loved the stuff you did in the book. I wish we could see even more of what you've been working on. Are you still doing fine art? I'd be very interested to see what you've been into in regards to your non-commercial work. Can't wait for that scanner update!!
Amazing! an update from Wes! Only you can make sketch look absolutely sexy. Quick question, what's the best kind of paper you've used for your graphite sketches, I'm curious for sketches because all the paper i find always smudges out of existence when i close the book!
Always a great pleasure to see some stuff from you Wes. I really like the first one. It has some magical artsy quality to it
Hey Wes, thanks for making an update! It was great to look through your sketchbooks at Marama, I got a lot of inspiration from them.
Always a pleasure
