E-mail is sent! Oooh, the anticipation. Good luck everyone.
I'm in the home stretch.. cropped off all the unfinished parts, just tightening it up in case my teammates actually appear from nowhere as superstars or Craig Mullins in disguise.
Mine's sent, good luck fella's.

Well I cut it pretty close, but my entry is finally completed and sent. I'm not really counting on advancing past round one, but I am pretty happy with how my piece turned out.
I haven't seen my competitors around here in a long time, but best of luck to TRUZART and gauss, wherever they are. Hope you guys didn't forget, I can't wait to see what everyone came up with.
The email has been sent.
Good luck all.

can't wait to see everyone's, especially my two competitors' this round.
oh, and mine needs a little explaining or at least a quote to put the image in context with the theme.
cody, i didn't put that in my submission email, but if it helps with the judging, i can send it along.
(i'm assuming the judges won't care either way)
Sent mine a couple hours ago.
Dude, fix those links! Couldn't see even one of your jobs... anyway, good luck!Originally Posted by OLSEN
I am having a HUGE PROBLEM sending my file and getting it to the size I want in photobucket. I want it to be a good size, but photobucket either shrinks it down extremely small or makes it large and pixilated, even if I sent it with 300 PPI! It doesnt make sense because I have a file in my sketchbook that was 13 x 9 inch and 300 ppi in photoshop and it transferred fine, but I am having trouble with this file. Its horizontal, and I am trying to send it around 8 x 18 inch at 200 to 300 ppi but photobucket is being a bitch. Anyone now what to do about this?
You don't need 300 ppi for screen, you need only 72 ppi!!
Try setting the width to around 1000 pixels in 72 ppi, inches don't make much sense on monitors. Hope it helps!
I just sent mine, btw
Well this sux, it has to be less than 1 MB in photobucket and I set it to 72 ppi and it is still making it hella pixelated or really really small. This is pissing me off
Wrapping mine up right now. I think I ended up with something I totally didn't expect, so I don't know how it'll go down. Definitely wish I could work on it tons more, but at this point, I'll be happy to get it done. Down to the wire. Aghhhh!
time to start panicking about deadlines, noobs.
MATYAS there is still a limit in size and resolution for photobucket, if it considers anything too large it will resize it for you (the small pixelated nonsense) compress it more and make it a smaller image, thats your best shot.
Just sent mines, hope to see it up! Just need to make it to second round hehe! Not really happy with the results, but meh, there is always next round, that is if I make it... good luck with the submissions everyone!
Mattyas , PPI (DPI) only counts when it comes to print (or in software that display the image using the print information). For browser vieweing all, that counts is the resolution and the jpeg compress factor.
If you make your picture 950 pixels in size along its "big" side (width or hight, whichever is larger on your work) and, of course, preserve porportions when resizing you should have an image photobucket won't fuss about even at max (or close to max) jpeg quality.
Will appreciate critique anywhere, anytime .
Better be a shitload less than 1mb, sir, of I'm throwing it back. Resize with Photoshop's Save for Web function, foo!Originally Posted by MATYAS
