Nice shoots, man. I like the last piece you drew still has your style. Nice man keep it coming.

I'm on vacation, hence all the photo stuff of late. This was a day trip to chicago with my lady. Chinatown, Millennium Park, around town, and Sears Tower.
This shot is from the new observation platforms at the Sears Tower. They are retractable glass cage that extend off of the side of the building. The first step is freaky but it's really cool.
heya hookswords, i'm digging your sketch style, luv the overlapping lines to form 3dimensional space in this sketch! Also great photo's ur gonna have to tell me how you got that effect cuz i'm liking it!!

Just a couple shots of the lighting from a great outdoor dinner with friends. I couldnt help but think it a bit odd that the lighting was a bit post apocalyptic while our dinner of mussels and goat cheese macaroni and cheese was quite delicate.
check out this Flickr thread to see even nicer ones.
I went on a little photo journey today. Chasing childhood memories, paranormal, and urban decay. Oh, and a weird nunary.
This is one of the lions at lions bridge in Lake Park right by the north point lighthouse. Both areas are said to be haunted. I do have to say that rather than stoic and tough, the lions have a sad expression on their faces.
Those miniature-photos are one big mindfuck! I've been playing with that myself recently, it's crazy how easily it fools the brain. Yours are way better than my feeble attempts, however, wonderfully done! You have quite the eye for photography, it's actually rather refreshing seeing those here--not that I don't like all the art, but you know Variety is good! I still hope you won't forget the drawing, even though your Wacom is dead, you could always resort to the good ol'pencil and paper Your drawing style is unique and fun to look at, so I hope to see more!
Grandmass, AsaB, always a pleasure to have you here for a visit. Yeah, I'll be hittin the sketch book more for sure. Hopefully it wont be long before I can get me a new wacom, or with any luck once dry my old one will work. I am really enjoying photography of late. I'm glad others are taking to it as well.
Hey again Hookswords! I had such a blast browsing through that link you gave me over at my SB. People are good at this! I certainly think your great attempts are up to par, every one of those fools my brain Since you asked, here's my latest little attempt. It's a photo of my home city, hehe, let's see if you're fooled by it
Sepia redux per Purplerose's suggestion
This is the fountain, and only remarkable piece at the Ranchos de las Flores. There are a number of asinine ghost stories about this place that are easily debunked by police logs and just plain common sense. It probably doesnt help that its at a dead end across the street from a graveyard

This site is awesome. I went up there in hopes that security wasnt so bad that I could get some external building shots and maybe a little ruralex action. The place is being restored and the owners were there and told me all about the place and let me into the church. If you want to read more check my blog (linked in my sig).

Some stuff from over the weekend.
This was the shell of an insect left clinging to a leaf. I cant recall seeing one of these that wasnt a cicada but here we are.
Apricots and plums for a flan a buddy and I made
I kinda wish this had turned out better. This was one of many random shots taken out my sun roof while driving through downtown
Another sun roof creation
