amazing stuff. Realy nice saturated colors, and youve gotten spot-on with your figure and portraits lately! You rock
... dude those portraits are so cool very nice felling of oil and canvas ... love them you must have some nice brushes
keep it up mouser ... you should stop sometimes at my SB to c my updates
Holy shit! Great stuff man! The environments are rocking and the oil paints look really great especially the second and third, some really subtle things which makes them stand out.
Scotlands alright, would really like to get away for a while though, some change (It's Shinryu). Thanks a lot for stopping in on my book.
Hope to get to the Seattle workshop, might see you there?
dude sup long time no see! as usual my comments on the enviros(damn ur good!!!), and great studies man! love this sb. Hey can u pop by my sb...u'll probably say the same thing but ill really apriciate a pros advice & and encouragment.

My Sketch Book!
Wow, you a frickin champ man! No crits from me atm. I do want to say thanks for the effort you put into your tuts and vids though. Very helpful stuff.
you rock on and there is no stoping
I still got some crits though
1 the beach and green enviro pic (#1 and #1 in the post):
imo the lighting of the BG is far too soft and where you can see through the rock structuresone can't rly say what is going on (the sky, an iceberg some kind of water splash?)
you should seperate the clouds so one can see a horizont and give the rocks a harder edge where they meet the "sky", a bit like in a photo with back light
2 the castle by night (#3 itp):
the sky could use some more defined clouds, I even found a ref pic ^^
the cool texture in the FG (hairy skin?) unfortunately is very flat and should not be used where the groundlevels change (like on a slope) for plain areas it's gold (same goes for #4 itp)
3 the pic with the blue flora you don't like (#5 itp):
imo it would look a lot better if the blue stuff had real plant like forms and features
that would create a nice focus point in the otherwise rather focusless pic, too
I like the colour contrast a lot
4 quick sketches
I like all of them, esp the first one (great FG)
5 the last oil pic you posted (#14 itp)
I lve the lips, they have volume and vivid highlights
on the otherside the eyes are dull and lifeless, rly borring (unlike the eye of the painting you just painted one half of)
6 the colab (#15 itp):
nice colour job but the nose should get a form like a nose not like a tube growing out of the face
that's it no more spanking
I love what you do, keep doing it and I'll keep coming
friends Sketchbooks:Dile_, Stine
my flickr go there if you want to see my photography stuff
<mildly sarcastic remark that seems a little cutting at first read, but contains wisdom and is really rather funny>

nice dude oils are getting much better
Youngin? I'm like half your age! Which would make you around 40? That's being a lil perverted geezer! Hahaha, last bit looks good too guy. See ya around Tom and I'm bustin my ass so we can get a good collab going on before Seattle, which I expect to see you at

be shure to come and check the blender tut that i was talking about its in my SB
This is an amazing sketchbook. Inspiration overload...
Incredible! Every time I come into this thread I'm left with so much great imagery that I don't know what to do with it! (I love the blue gunk one, reminds me of Halo for some reason)
lens flare renaissance
Man, the environments look great. They get me pumped to do some myself -- and that last collab is awesome. The backlighting effect is really convincing. I think I read in ImagineFX that you only started art 3 or 4 years ago? I'd hate you if I wasn't so awed. Keep amazing us.
nice update idiot! so did any of those oils end up on yr moms fridge? the U? which classes? maybe ill come take one w/ you! schools goin good. i friggin hate illustrator with just about every ounce of my body...but painter is really cool. my drawing class is okay. i have rob adamson so things are moving kinda slow and not so much in one direction. but its nice to have an excuse to draw
and yr enviros are really crappy, btw.
wow, what a fantastic update, man These environmental pieces are the shit.
Yeah, I'm intending on heading up to Seattle, so I guess I we can always meet up? Pics... well, here's my myspace... I'm linking to my blog entry from last years workshop.
Tom Tom! You make me cry at how amazingly awesome your artz is now.
Where's my wallpaperz!? How is werkz?
I hope all is well and that I can fix my PC so I can color pick all your color schemez then try to figurez out how to create beautiful environmentz pertaining to the music I listen to (i.e. Biosphere, etc).
Loving your ever growing fanbase and those few dedicated followers (i.e. Tex (hahaha)). Be blessed and come into IRC moar. Chairs.
