[So... There are a bunch of them.]
Sci-Fi/Fantasy Vehicles: FLYING TAXIS IN THE LOT
too tired tonight to use photoshop... two minute sketch with a pencil.
didnt they have flying taxis in blade runner?
looks good matt
you too machzero its more sci fi
Nice twist Hamsta
didnt have much time for this today, started playin around on ps and came up with me concept, then wanted to go traditional with it, but spilt my ink and got annoyed, so here is the ps doodle 10 mins, and the pencil doodle for the trad (before the inkular disaster)
Mattgamer, yeah them taxis look cool, love that futuretro feel.
Mach, I very much enjoy your pencils, doo moree... Traditional is gooood hehehe
Hamsta hehe, amusing take on topic... I felt the very same as you about the getting annoyed drawing flying cars!??! but i didnt have the idea of not including them in my pic!! well done you, hehe
Around 2.5hrs. Inspired by a picture of a world war 2 half-track tank. In the future, personal security will probably be an even bigger deal, so cab drivers work in pairs. The driver doors require a combo to get in. Customers pay and give their directions through the plasma screen computer/ATM thingy on the right side. Then the door opens up behind the driver door like an airplane, with stairs on the bottom, and they get into a small, bullet proof, privacy tinted dome separated from the drivers by 4 inches of a cheap titanium alloy (they have discovered an economic way to synthesize it, of course). Oh, and there are 6 bevarage holders.

First post here in a long long looooong time.
1 hour in Open Canvas/Photoshop.
NKunleashed: Whoa! I like the Brinks truck feel to 'em.
Eriboss: Actually, I liked the inking. I thought it was pretty sweet.
Madness takes its toll. Please have correct change.
i almost got this ready earlier today, but then artrage crashed DAMN!
this is my second trie.. came out a lot darker than my first one..
artrage 1.1 - 1 hour and 10 min
Andoo45: nice! those guys look like they're made for speed... and i bet i could get someplace on time. heh.
xenos: what's artrage? i like the blue jets... very sweet.
Wundergeek: this has the Minority Report or IRobot movie feel to it. nice overall... smooth and sweet for an hours work.
NKunleashed: awesome idea. ooo, 6 beverage holders... oh man i can have 3 waters and 3 mountain dews in all.
Eriboss: i really like the depth and ink lines. it looks like an illustration for some PCWorld magazine or something.
Hamsta: haha... i hate it when i get annoyed with my concept. sometimes you've just got to rethink it from a totally different perspective. i sometime get up play PS3...er PS2 and go back to drawing whatever and get new ideas. try it out sometime.
machzero: nice work with the traditional piece... luv it!
MattGamer - Is this possible, there is somebody out there who hasnt tried artrage!?!
Artrage is this fun little paint program from Ambient Design and its free!
xenos: really!! rad! downloading NOW! thanks!
DuneFishUK: spiffin!!! very cool concept.
Antilight77: i like... dang the detail is stunning!
heri: ooh... sweets!! love the shimmers. greatness!
charcoalArtist: mototaxi!! woo!
two versions, quick ballpoint pen in my sketchbook...
first one is bleh, just tried something, but the second one was a little more fun. has a small, smoking robot taxi driver.
Sweetnes today guys. Where have I been? I've been trying to beat Chrono Trigger on SNES. Awesome game.
@Heri & FoiledAgain... nice work!!
MattGamer Games are evil, they sap all my productivity for hours on a daily basis.
I think you did a good job with the main taxi concerning perspective and the compostion works pretty well. Unfortunetly the bg looks quite unresolved, with the building fading to white, and the other taxis ranging in finish.
Some people make some damn good scribbles - you are not in that group yet.
Eriboss I want to see that inkspill, see if it really is a lost cause.
The pencil has a lot going for it which was just lost in the digital, which is a mess, so Im gonna ignore
I like the retro look of those taxis, and the sheer scale of their lot.
It was a major pain in the ass to get this thing to upload to the server for some reason.
