just a character:/ ... her tits dont look right and i dont know why.
i love your character designs! very cool stuff in here
rock on bro, you have some really nice sketches in there, those perspective studies really came out nice. your color breakdowns are cool as well, i learned a thing or two lookin at those!
hands down, the first image on this page is my fav. great use of perspective to set up an interesting shot, well executed as well. good shit! my only tip would be to do a few more anatomy studies, some of the arms look a little bit off for some reason.
kick ass work though! definitely wanna see more....
makoa's madness! - check out my sketchbook
Hey Cold cool SB!
I would like to ask you a question about the apple you did in post #191. I've just started learning about the basics of coloring myself and I'm wondering what you did between step 3 and 4 to get that texture on the apple? I'm not sure how to phrase it but it sorta like the texture that pencil hatchings have. Did you use a very fine brush along with smudging? If so, how long did that take you?
I'm really digging the wide variety of subjects your tackling, particularly the environments. SB rated.
Nice sketchbook! I think you have good skills for posture and movement.
Nice! And an Iron Maiden Fan
Great view! first time viewer of your sketchbook and its a kick!..I love your use of perspective and color, your work has great energy!
My only crit is minor becuase your work is strong regardless, but you tend to get too blurry and diffuse in areas of interest.
Keep up the great work
Thanks a google for the useful link and pointersOriginally Posted by Cold
Hi there!!! Brilliant work mate! U have such a nice flow in ur works and arent afraid of trying out some difficult drawing angles/techniques! Ur SB is a real treath of what it is really ment for! experimenting... and u seem to succeed at it! This one http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j6...ogresscopy.jpg has real nice colors imo... Lots of ur works tend to be "greyish". The advice i can give u is NEVER use pure black! always go for color! In real live there is almost no pure black, unless u suffer from an eye ingury and can c colors :p But i guess in ur case u schould always go for color At least thats what they told me in painting class. Yesterday i found some good info about using schadows/colors on the forum here...was somthing with a troll? i will try to look it up it was verry usefull to me!
Anyway what can i say except brilliant stuff here! Keep it up amigo...i will visite u when i have some free time Ciao und adios happy x-mass by the way

Thanks Pascallo, i appreciate you noticing
Thanks Tomcardin, sounds like a good tip.
Kir Nuyts, nice name, yes i've been told about not to use black, seems hard though, when one started to learn through b&w comics. I'll keep playing about i guess
few doodles I did on a train, travelling. Love the train for that, but get alot of people's attention. I really want to doodle at this point but end up talking for ages zzZ Zzz
Really nice works matey, you're really coming along with your digi painting. A few things are off, but who cares man you're learning you have to expect that. Just the next time you done something, improve upon it. About texture having seen these recent posts, i dont even think you need it to be honest.
My favorite is the woman with the blue shirt, her face is really well done. ima have to pick your brains about your technique soon yeah hehe. Thanks for sharing!
Love that loose style! The clothes on this last lady are just alive with energy. She is a bit out of balance with that large claw but nothing that takes away from the fun of it all.
some really good updates! the last one is good but I feel like maybe her right leg is a little long. I could be wrong though... It is nice how you broke it into shapes in the sketch.

Super SB!! Thanks for stopping by mine! I really like all of your work. Lovin the ball point pen stuff. I did the same last night, no where near your level though. Awesome!!!!!
I am liking this peice so far. I really think American civilwar costumes work really well. Plus the fact that you have the characters facing each other also emphasises that these two characters are from opposite sides.
Great job man!
Can't wait to see the finnished product
'Iam what Iam' - Popeye The Sailor Man
Lots of nice work, it's hard to single out a specific piece because theres so much.
This has all the makings of a cool picture: two opposing entities, the face off, an apparent underlying story, and ensuing violence.Originally Posted by Cold
Had another look at your book - the Orc is my fav so far, beneath most of your pencil-stuff
you have some neat stuff in this SB.. keep up the good work
