Here's one I did today. It's based on a poem for a school assignment. Done in Photoshop elements 2.
Nice man, I especially like that grey/blue quadraped monster - really has a good sense of mass.
Don't stop now!
Fantastic, do you take classes at all?
Time can make or break
there is so much good work here. I want to see some exagerated perspective in your work. Like the guy running with the big gun. if you had a 45 degree upward or downward angle it might look much more dynamic.
I will be keeping an eye on this thread.
Lovin' those paints man! You really are starting to develop and eye for color. Some really great progress and ideas rollin' around in here. Just keep 'em comin'. The only crit I really have is the stiffness of the work in areas. Maybe some more lifedrawing and anatomy studies would help the overall stuff. Life drawing for sure. Gestures and such. Just get more fluid with it. I have a similar problem in my work. Great stuff tho. I'll be lookin' for more!
ZebzFree: Thanks man, yeah I see what you mean about the stiffness, I havn't really done a lot of gestures and such, so I'll definitely be doing a lot more.
Jens: Thanks, I'm Glad you like them. Thanks for the crit about the compositions , I will look into that.
More coming soon.
Well, again it has been a while since I posted anything. I'm sick with Glandular fever so I can't draw as much I'd like to, But I'm gonna try to post more of my stuff.
Here are some from the last few days and my old thunderdome pic.
My thunderdome pic from a month or so ago.
From today, a quick sketch for a warrior guy.
Here it is finished, Half way through I decided to turn it into a Nord from the elderscrolls games.
And some random stuff I didn't put much thought into.
Edit: I forgot to post this one.

Nice blurry faces. I like the paints too. You're talented man. Just focus it! I'm still standin behind my study comment I made earlier. I think you started working on more fine arts oriented stuff like life and anatomy studies your work could really be taken to a whole 'nother level. Keep it up, man.
Whoa. I don't see much you can improve on. Maybe try to push yourself into making something really crazy, but I honestly don't know! Very, very nice.
I love the paints you have here. I like the way you handled the light on that big lizard. No crits from me! keep at it.
Good to see you're in SSG#8, good to see you're a Kiwi as well. I can't use any computer art software so as far as I'm concerned you're doing good, lol
hey, u got a nice progress goin on already i think ur digital work is gettin better and better.Just keep going and don't forget to do some study's now and then.....yeh they ain't fun
zombie scene with a rainbow in the background. I really liked that one. Nice thread.
That's some nice stuff. I was looking through it to find that one complaint-what was lacking, and every time I came across something that I thought was your weakness you seemed to correct it with the next image. Not too gray, certainly able to do a nice hard edge when you want, can make a realistic face if you spend the time.
I'm going to disagree with Styler-I thought the Zombie piece was one of the weaker ones. The composition just seems to split down the middle with the top half being empty space, the rainbow dowsn't entirely fit as is-the trees could fade into the background better, and zombies brought out with more detail. The fact that that many figures are taken on is respectable, but it wasn't quite pulled off.
The Nord, however, has none of those problems. It could be developed further, there's a blury feel to the whole thing, but I love the figure. It's well done.
yeah, just a general wow from me....wow.
It's been too long since I updated this sketchbook, Thanks to everyone who has replied so far.
I have had a relapse of Glandular fever for the past 4-5 months, I probably wont be updating very often.
Anyway here are some sketches. Most of them are a couple of months old but I'd still like crits on them.
Here's my entry for the TD
