*starts the slow clap* The people demand more mechanical goodness!
the green body suit girl just gave me a latex fetish I think.
I love the way you rendered this girl Kemp... Hopefully we get to see another post from you before the end of 2007!
Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

nice!! a christmas present yay. the nike girl is really well done. i like the poses and the different light sources.
Really nice stuff!
Do some more robots or tech stuff, you have a good understanding how mechanics work. Did you study the more technical side of things in the past?
Because I`m drawing alot of aircraft en spaceships lately and I just have to study how certain things work in order to design a vehicle that looks realistic and actually could be build. Any tips on this? Books I should check out?
Again great sketches!
Man, I thoroughly enjoy your sketchbook since discovering it today. Please keep posting when you can.
incredible work, as usual. Love the lines and rendering.
Miss you around here Kemp, share some of the new stuff when you get a chance.

hey man! your stuff is really mad skillz, quallity damn they kill. so many great ideas you have. your sense for details are really excellent! love your stuff.
Im one of the lucky ones to have 2 of your awesome framed drawings. your sketchbook is one of my favorites
hey guys, thanks for coming around and taking the time to leave a note. I thought I'd post up some of the stuff in here that I put in the FF section. Two games I worked on over a year ago released some of the art that MB and some others worked on for codemaster's "Maelstrom" and Vicious Cycle's "Dead Head Fred". The codemasters job especially seems like ages ago was some of the first work I did for MB, seems like just yesterday but oh how that time do fly.
I'll post more stuff up in here soon. promise. toodles. -k
nobody_knows: Dude the pleasure of knowing you is all mine. I got three of your jewels on the wall and that's where they stay. Rich, you know how to say just the right thing to make me sleep with you. How does he do it!?
Epias: Yea I like to do alot of background study, especially lately for some reason. I started getting into tanks for a job ended up buying two models down at the hobby store to reference. The hard part about designing vehicles is making them look convincing, the easy part making them look "fantastic" So I feel like the best way to find sucess in any kinda mechanical thing I do is to study what's out there, especially what's "modern" and "new". With that being said alot of the vehicles we use are based on technology that's pretty old, so studing any part of mechanics will help you be a better artist in that department fo' sho'. I'd just reccomend checking the internet and go from there
Zaknafain: thanks man, yep, sketchup rules
Here's the APC pic I put up in the FF. It was an experiment with doing an environment and placing a model within it. then i put in some space/army dudes and made it look like a crazy planet. Two necessities you really can't go wrong with.
I also put up a progress shot for those interested. in. my butt.
Cute concepts. I got a kick out of the transforming robots and the various head designs.

Here's a ridiculous painting of two hoes I did not too long ago that started as a tattoo request from my friend. He decided that tattooing his whole back was a bad idea and I decided to paint yellow and blue chicks for fun. There you have it, if you're a racist you'll hate it
On the subject of requests the next two are just that. The blockader illo and the jalapeno dudes are both for friends of mine back in Athens, Gawga. The jalapeno dudes are for a friends party, i should have a new version of it too. Overall jobs like this are fun because your friends don't think you're a dick and you get to tackle stuff you're not familiar with, you know how it goes..
