One last sketch for today. Starting to experiment more with layer modes.
Love the environments man. Keep posting!

Hey nice environment and vehicle sketches...are you inspired by Feng Zhu vehicle design?
Looking forward to see final stage of sketch_02a_small.jpg
Cojac: Thank you!
Classmate: Thanks! Yeah Feng Zhu is a huge inspiration to me. Have been following his work back when he just drew by hand. Haven't really thought of taking that sketch further to be honest. It was a happy accident at the time
Here's a painting I started recently. Any feedback/crits would be awesome.
hey dude, youre amazing!
I really like of your paintings, but the way of you always have a point in your works that you highlights as an cause of happiness is really really inspiring.
Thanks for your passion and keep it up o/
hey man great environments the last one is looking very promising and your scifi vehicles are really cool. If anything push that girls value behind 4 arm guy back its a bit too close. But basically my advice is start doing more studies, you have a nice understanding of shapes and such and you need to start just looking a bit more closely at environments and what really makes them feel right because the one youre doing now hold up fine. You know what you like painting best or find hardest, start looking at those and see what you can learn.
For your characters also studies but pay attention to perspective and weight balance, once you can get a feel for those things figures become much more believable.
Great work man keep going
TFsean: Thank you so much for the crit and for taking the time to check out my sketchbook! Studies is definitely something I need to do more of. In terms of landscapes, which master artists do you recommend looking at?
Here's an old painting which I recently reworked:
eh, amazing. I need to start doing environments soon. I like your colour constructions, they aren't too dark,or bright or saturated. Its just right. I wonder how much time it takes to do a landscape, seems like it'd take forever. Thank you, it was really nice to see your work mmhm, keep at it!
If i don't reply to questions on others sketchbooks, send me a message. I'm very scatterbrained
Much of what's in here is, for lack of a better word, splendid. You have a good command over the subject matter of your pieces and it's all very sleek and smooth. Even the WIP's have a certain quality to them that grips the viewer. I don't think I personally have any constructive criticisms that would be useful to you since I'm a writer and not a painter, but as a suggestion you could 1. Do more thumbnails to practice getting the right composition for your pieces, and 2. Keep ironing out the WIP's you already have in place because I think they have a lot of potential to be full illustrations for a portfolio.
Nice work Karl.
