Hi, my name is Franklin! Despite drawing basically everyday, I am terrible at artsy stuff, I blame it on the fact that I am a horrible perfectionist who gives up waaay to easily.
But enough self deprecation, It tends to leave a bad taste in my mouth if I do too much of it. I am a high school student aiming to get into animation of some sort as a career despite having next to no formal training regarding drawing whatsoever! This is actually the main reason I joined these forums, I want comments on my work besides the hugs and empty praise that my friends give the stuff I draw! I want criticism, so people can give me an idea of what in specific I need to improve on!
I promise I will never use this many exclamation marks in a post again. :T

I've heard advice around these parts about perfectionism; doesn't exist. The fundamental gap in tastes and skill is not surmised by hours of work onto one piece to make it perfect: rather, constant practice. Whenever your about to nitpick your works just think about it for a moment: "Is this really helping me to improve?" I look forward to seeing your art.
And use your exclamation marks to express yourself! Not in a way indicative of self-loathing, but to transpose your passion for the subject into words!
