Hello, I understand it's bad forum etiquette to necro an old thread, so I'm making a new one, I hope that's okay. I was browsing for monitor calibration threads and came across this one,
In particular this quote,
There's also this sort of.. texture on the screen. Like watercolour paper. Like it needs a good clean, but I've washed it with the cloth supplied and water as directed and it's making no difference.
In contrast, there's no texture on my laptop screen, and on my laptop I can see the difference between Y and Z. But obviously a laptop screen isn't ideal for digital art, which is why I'm trying.. and seemingly failing.. to upgrade.
It's a 23" AOC i2353fh.. I bought it because it was the only IPS monitor in the shop. :/
I really REALLY appreciate ANY advice!
