Thank you guys for the input and comments! I will reply to all messages in my next post. Till then, here is the final for current cow:
I don't know how you do it, but I just love your rendering technique.
The lighting on your creatures and characters always remind me of those odd looking microscope images of insects. Might be because the light is coming from all directions except the viewpoint.
I like how you added the little power icons to this one.
cute little monsters
hahahah the #123 character is hilarious!
Nice clean, sharp edged drawing here and interesting monster designs.
I love your sense of houmor on some of those.
Also nice understanding of values and 3d forms.
On #205, his legs don't seem too right, the way he is standing on earth.

knut-: I really appreciate the feedback, thanks a ton!
So where have I been all this time? Well I am experimenting with 3d sculpting. And since I have no clue on how to render stuff properly, here is a multiple pass comp and overpaint of my first sculpt (plus a bonus commission piece I did a while back):

Hey hey, pretty good 3d-sculpt, pretty good indeed. The nose looks a bit funky though, as it's missing the bridge if that's what you call the upper part.
Have you had any experience with 3D before, like did you make the base mesh for this one?
You should explore the medium more as your style would do great there!
That commission piece is crazy cool. The graphical hands comes as nice surprise. What is it going to be used for?
hey, why don't you try to make the walking dead dude from the last episode of the second season of game of thrones?
i think it would fit with your style perfectly!

That is a great combination of 2D and 3D. The mask design that you keep using is cool and shows off the topology of the face really well. Are you using zbrush to render? The single hard lightsource isn't as good for showing off the sculpt as the more White box light you normaly use does.
The other image is fantastic and oddly entertaining. All your pieces are so great. Don't you ever do anything that is just good?
Anyways, keep giving us the good stuff!
can some inform me how to setup my avatar so that it can be displayed on the main page?please.

That creature concept is so creative. It's actually quite similar to a concept I wanted to use for a future COW round, I just haven't gotten around to. Keep at it, your stuff is looking awesome as always.
it´s good to be one with you and sqeal all day!
