did anyone else notice the links to russian sites on the front of CA?
whats up with that?
kinda funny i guess =/
the first thing i thought of when seeing 'russian links' was 'mail order brides'....
but no, which links are you talking about?
~*the artistic journey is like giving birth, its gonna hurt and you know you suck but you cant give up because there is no such thing as "giving up" in childbirth*~
I just found them (cleverly disguised, black on black...)
Hovering over them, looks like one goes to "madcrack.org", one goes to "whatq.ru", and one goes to a suspicious looking "test" php page with a .ru domain... Looks pretty fishy. No way am I clicking any of those.
Looks like a security breach.

I've just "reported" this thread to bring it to the attention of Mods/Admin
http://whatq.ru/ goes to a porn link website of some sorts Lol, mad crack doesn't go anywhere, the website is still being developed and the other one is some russian collection website with random collections of things
For those of you folk that clicked on the links, it might be a good idea to run some virus scans/spyware scans. Just to make sure you're safe.
In Russia, internet porn surfs YOU!
[sorry, but how'd this thread go so long without the obligatory Yakov Smirnov ref. . .]
Nah, I've reported several times there's a hole in earlier versions Vbull that can allow spyware to infect the forums. I keep being told nothing is there, but that's not the point. It's the fact something could get in :/
I suspect it's also breaking the scripts mods use as well.

It is slightly worrying with the sale going on. I'm hoping to get some stuff at the end of the week and now I'm concerned as I'll actually have money in the bank.
Well, been trying hard to find some russian porn links on the front page all morning. Ctrling A and everything....but my efforts have been in vain. I think its all cleaned up now. Thanks for cleaning them up, whoever did.
If I've overlooked them, I guess I just fail at the internet/life.

As such, any website hack at CA.org would have no effect on your bank account due to purchases being made through a third party.
Thought I'd straighten that out to put yourself and any others with a similar worry at ease.
