Some studies from old portuguese masters, sketching birds and a study of my dear goat skull.

great drawings here man.i like your consistency.i advice you to put some effort in studying hands
spraix- thanks for dropping by!
nor- So many stuff to study, yet so little time. I'm gouing back into environments studies because I feel like I've been careless with those lately, but yeah I have a lot of brushing up to do on every single part of the anatomy.

Been away for quite some time, but that doesn't mean I've stopped drawing, in fact I've doubled my study rate
So here's a ver tiny preview of what I've been doing. I haven't included my zbrush studies because I don't feel they belong here.
Great sketchbook! So much progress man, that last image you posted and the second one on post #96 are looking very cool, keep posting man!
well well, I'm back after a few months away. Big changes in my life, I'm actually working as a concept artist right now, my first professional gig and loving every second of it, even though it doesn't leave me much time to do as many studies and personal pieces as I would like.
New account since my old one is pretty much gone with this new version of CA, thank to the lack of facebook connect. Anyways, some sketch stuff from today done while my photoshop students were working.
awesome work man. particularly like the 2nd and 6th paintings in the last post, colours are textures appillied build up an almost lonely atmosphere. Thanks for posting, loved strolling through your sketchbook.
some very nice work here man. very gestural, the flow feels so natural keep up the style! loving the face studies which have wonderful colour in them

Onward with some more backlog:
And some 3 hours worth of thumbnails done today and a quick sketch:
AMAZING WORK!! i cant guive any crit because your skill is way to high for me!
Johnny24- Thanks for the compliment dude! You can always give critique regardless of your level, even a simple thing like the mood isn't right or the perspective is off is valuable info to any artist!
Right, so I suck at doing vehicles, but I went for it anyway. I need to practice some hard surface painting pretty badly. Also, a zombie killer sketch thing.
Nice stuff, progress is notable specially the human figure and form. I like them.
The last image the blue tint of the shadow is too opaque, it feels like they have some pen ink smeared on them.
Nice studies, i specially enjoyed your portrays studies.
You should try to do more studies with rigorous line work, so you can focus in structures and proportions. Start a quick drawing with brushes is an awesome training but is also good to take some time and focus in structuring your studies.
I'm saying this because i'm doing the same thing, for a long time i was trying to work only with brushes but then i realized i could learn much more if i focused part of my studies on line work.
ps: Adorei o Limburger ahahah fá-lo sem máscara
Sketchbook! Give me your feedback
dude awesome sb love the girl in post 110 lovely use of colors in your work keep it up
Peixoto- I actually start most of my sketches with a quick lineart but it disappears quickly when I start painting over the basic sketch
Dimi- thanks for dropping by dude, appreciate it!
I've been trying out Sparth technique of messing up with a square smudge tool with 100% strength to find shapes. Did some stuff, then realized I suck at doing properly designed/useful stuff.
