Looks awesome. Re composition: placement of things is fine in my eye, it's just then working that to lead the eye around; my eyes get lost pushed up by the large black triangle and rocks
Damn - the latest is so tasty.
It showed in the studies before, but just love how you bring the shading you did in them so into this and how strong your shapes are without ever becoming too much, but just right.
A bit like a clean 3d render with realistic light and tasteful shapes and textures that allows it to be more than what reality would have been without ever feeling toony and silly. I often fall in the later part, that it always feels too stylized and its inspirational to see perhaps what I could learn by striving a bit to merge some of your style into mine, or at least attempt it.
Thanks for posting these, for not only are they delicious I think they can help my own style/skill grow.

no worries mate, we all need to learn
Man, you're interpreting too much into my work, haha. Half the time I don't even know what the fuck I'm doing. But thanks!
I was rimming the sky pretty hard lately.. Time to get back on track.
Here's some stuff I didn't post yet.
Studies (I used a 3x3 grid for the female faces during the drawing stage)
okay wow. i've always seen this thread's thumbnail but never bothered to pay a visit-- but i'm sure glad i did now! i think a few have mentioned this before but that sculptural way you paint is really something and is what i'd like to achieve in my digital stuff. i just created a Tugelbend folder in my art inspirations archive 5* deserved!
amazing stuff mate!! Maybe you should focus a bit more on textures- You obviously know how to render stuff but all your stuff has this very "rubbery" look to it a bit more work on textures would just add to your awesome work and kick our assses even more.......well now that I think of it, just forget about it, it's alright hahahahhahaaaaaaaaha....
good works man
Cool stuff, the quasimodo looking revolverman look and feels great! Liked seeing the process in this last post btw
Wow, awesome lines and character design! Your ideas are very cool!
wow your stuff is amazing, I'd like more WIPS from you cause the process is very interesting for me! good job!
@teapo, thank you!
@Gloominati, yes you're absolutely right. I'm still not sure how to deal with textures and the rubbery look is caused by my weird sense of highlights. I gotta finetune that!
@Lakka, LastGen and Ectomy, THANK YOU. I'd kiss you all but my mouth is kind of dirty.
Anyway, small update. Played around with some color schemes and I think I'll go with this one.

Okay, I have no clue what I did to piss you guys off. Downvoting this thread several times with one star because of a personal grudge? If it's just one person I'd like this person to contact me via PM so we can straighten things out.
But if it's just because of my work, that's cool, I can respect your opinion. But it would help me much more if you guys would come out and give me constructive critique instead of just downvoting without any comment. Thanks
Anyway, some sketch.
uh that sketch looks really cool, paint it! Just for me! I would be very......very thankful
Oh man I just love fantasy and medieval and thus ur character concepts, great job
