Plein air study: Webster Lake, NH. Part of the grounds of the house we were staying at.
Done during a plein air event in Waitsfield, Vermont. One of the two paintings that I did that day (both sold).
Another painting of the grounds at Webster Lake, NH.
Plein-air study of a farm field in Shelburne, Vermont.
Started working on some autumn trees. This was another tree study down my street.
Another tree study on my street. I like how the greens and the autumns color mix. Makes the tree more interesting.
Plein air study of Lake Champlain (Burlington, Vermont). It was a pretty windy day.
Birch study during this fall.
Not your typical tree (plein-air study in Shelburne, Vermont).
Another storm coming towards me (Grand Isle, Vermont). We have a lot of grey days in Vermont.
Electric Dam in Essex Junction, Vermont.
One of the few non-rainy days in Vermont.
Just off the easel. "Unseen Beauty" 12 x 9 oil on canvas.
Playing around with one of MJ Ranums photos.
"Protection" 16 x 20 oil on canvas
Another creature design for the Creature of the Week challenge. Needed to be a dragon-type that blew bubbles. The idea was that the side-spikes generated the bubbles, rather than the mouth.
Another Creature Study
More playing around with eyes and sticks.
A bit of randomness. Melding a creature with rock formation.
