Damn! how come I've never seen this.. shame on me.
Really enjoy how you experiment with all these different textures and techniques, especially n# 99 and 101, and even more because a i scrolled down there where too many good art popping up.. haha
this last one is realy good, your best, for me. It just work well, ahah and you got me with the "celestial titty bar" : D
Your brush work is just cool and interesting, there is clearly something of mullins in some of your work.
I'd just be curious to see more character design of you.
Keep up the good work man, you are clearly on your way for the awesome lane with this last one
Amazing work ! I like the rough painting style of your studies.
Please, excuse me for the possible errors in my English.
I'm always lurking there and I feel I must say: Keep it coming!
I like painting-like illustrations and you've also got a nice grasp of colors. This last piece, for example, has some relatively "simple" and kinda pale colors, but you've mixed in such way they create a really attractive mood - at least for me.
Why is there almost no one commenting on this ?
This shit is concentrated awesomeness. These guys....
Anyways, thanks for uploading. Great to look at and
it always gives inspiration and hope to the community.
Your speedpaint-y skills are incredible, and it's great
to be able to experience them.
@vielmond, thank you , mood is something i'm trying to achieve in all my drawing, hopefully i can get better
@Toffers thank you for the wonderful comment, i really appreciate it, makes me want to keep on drawing
here are some speedpaints and a character inspired by latest chow (wont post it since I don't think it fits the description)
drew these people on a train from ukraine to poland
Man, Cant believe I have never been here before. Your work is...so...beautifully chaotic. I love it...Your going to develop so far. I'm going to be following this thread. I find it so environmentally inspirational. Nice stuff!
Great work, love the environments!
art is never finished, only abandoned~Leonardo da Vinci
I must say this is some cool stuff here. great sketchbook.
amazing environments snafu! jeeezuz ur colors are amazing. Any tips for a beginner trying to get better at doing environments? i assume you're usuing mostly texture brushes in photoshop? what sort of references or resources do you use for your work?
check out my : SKETCHBOOK: All critiques much needed and WELCOMED!
@damien Thank you bro
@Justin Thanks man, I will come by
@ezekrial Thanks !
@Wit Thanks bro, will do
@Mullseynga Thanks mate
@wutangclam Thanks man, mostly with my environments i just think of something I want to draw and make it, if i'm struggling to picture how something would be, i'll just search google images for a quick ref, otherwise it's mosly just experimentation until I get it right. In terms of textures most of the effects are just from texture brushes and playing with layers like overlay, multiply, hard light etc.
In terms of getting better just practice, read books on lighting, watch youtube videos like the ones feng zhu posts and try and work from imagination I guess. I still consider my environments flawed and see myself as fairly amateur so I'm still learning too
Oh and with colours I just kinda guess, see what looks right since I know which colours generally work well together I don't find it too hard
have been doing a lot of environment lately will post them soon, here a wip and a random sketch
Wow those are some really beautiful landscapes @_@ Especially love #137.
Keep up your fooly cooly.
