Giant Splatter. A quick warm-up befeore the work.
Interesting work can be seen here.
I like the way you color your sketchbook pages,
and how you convert some of your work into 3D.
Why have you stopped posting?
We are waiting for you new cool updates.
@LtPlissken - hey, thanks for the interest. Yeah, sucks this thread became pretty quiet. The reason I stopped posting these days is very simple. I have no sketches or other preproduction images to show. Working mainly on stuff I am not allowed to share yet. Too bad I can't kick myself to sketch something randomly imaginary or observatory during lunch or freetime. It's about to change soon and I'll be back with regular updates. Hopefuly upcoming week.
I know very well how important is the practise.
@NickyBeats - thanks man. Hope you'll enjoy a little tutorial for the Warehouse piece I am currently working on. Should go on 3Dtotal soon.
The neo-noir short is progressing slowly but here is another shot concept for it. Also an acrylic sketch that will go on bigger canvas later this year.
hey, long time this was a quiet place. It may continue the same route, however I have some recent stuff to share for now. Sketches from my minibook I made during our Bazzart - design market session and a little first touch with Painter 12.
+ Retro Pick Of The Week #02 - 1998 - yeah that is so last century. With all the texts and, hey, do I see some nickname there? Sweet...
news today: 3DTotal Excellence Award, frontpage and a nudity warning for VOILA VIOLA I am happy the image made it through some selection.
Hey, great sketchbook! I'm really enjoying the variety of different media. No criticism from me, you're quite good. Keep it up.
Just took at look at this page...REALLY like your very original characters and sensibilites!!!
I was a liitle pushed for time before my last comment. I just went over all three pages of your sb. I really loved what I saw.
You clearly have the chops to do any style you wish but I love when you play with perspective and proportions and veer into caricature and cartoon. Your color sense is very good too!
While I'm behind you in the technique and imagination departments I respond to your work because I feel whe have similar tastes and humor.
Thanks for taking a look at my work...hopefully we can watch each-other grow!
great you managed to do so. Even though I draw from life a lot during my studies trying to catch the reality and correct proportions as much as I was able that time; I feel like I lost some foundations. However I tend to ignore this and always throw in some at least slightly stylised stuff. I kindly disagree with you about you beeing behind me in the technique. You have the patience to actually finish and polish your renderings while I am mostly stuck with semifinal pieces. Sure, I like it that way, keep the things rough here and there. Anyway, going to keep an eye on your progress too. Cheers,
