hello ^_^ good stuff on the studies, that's exactly what you need to do
however i would suggest you keep going on them until you can match up the reference as closely as possible. it's a challenge, but challenge is what it takes to improve. this will require you to learn blending brush strokes in photoshop a bit better which will improve your rendering skills. if you need to, mirror the ref and drawing to get a better look at them
also don't use the eyedrop tool in photoshop. try to pick the colors just by looking at them.

i do not do much character, from then on i will do one character per week with "character of the week", and "environement of the week" if i can.

Hey smael, great sketchbook. i would suggest that you do more anatomy studies for your figures though. i like the gray scale self portraits, keep up the goo work.
