hmm.. what is this the simon brothers are up to now?? star trek themed comments xD. anyway, those are some really nice line works in your hand studies-- question, what scale are you working at on the master study? looking great buddy :3
master study looks good, can't wait to see the final 'lady jane grey paul delaroche'
I love all the studies goin' on! Might want to re-evaluate you value scale just a little bit. I think your not hitting the darks hard enough. GJ!
j-bro: garbage day?
ck-bro: thanks, greying things out is a bad habit of mine.
js-bro: thank you.
t-bro: thank you too.
haven't been drawing from ref much in the past couple of weeks, so improving on that is the goal for next week.
progress is really slow on this study. still drawing, i think it's going to take a really looonnnng time to finish.
finally spent some time on this. currently building up the drawing and looking forward to doing some painting.
the first of a series of batguys, a lot of mistakes to learn from in this one.
NO lie on taking as much time on that master study as possible. Your proportions and structure in the figures is starting to really gel. Watch those values! DO IT!!!
t-bro: thanks, i'm going to to do 5 different batmen.
ck-bro: i haven't fixed the values yet, but i will. i promise
Ok, here is a selection of sketchbook pages, including the master studies in ink i started to do this week.
and a progress update on my painting master study.
j-bro: thank you.
au-bro: I shall endeavour to persevere.
c-bro: thank you, i will.
js-bro: thank you.
not a lot to show this week.
i have started painting on my master study.
i am working through rendering in pen and ink by guptil. if i gain nothing else i think it will improve my drawing.
and some sketches.
keep that render research up! i want to see some bad ass rendering!
