^_^ Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!! ^_^
I really like those environments. I think your doing great with colors, but I think you should work on your lines...Try do them really light at first and as straight as possible (it there are those cubes and other architectural shapes). Because if you're going to draw with full intensity of your pencil the lines are going to be really thick and heavy.
Hope that was helpful, good luck! ^_^
Kungfoowiz Okey dokey chef! I will do a extra exercise for this Thank you :>
Vatsel Thank you!
SageTso Yeah i will, some day this, some that. You know what i mean.
Kristoff Hey, thank you! Today i worked with my lines in the figure drawing. Feels great to do another way do draw now.
FUC* SHIT YEAH!
Manged it to draw without heavy lines and i LIKE IT!
So, some gestures after Villpu, Figure drawing without heavy lines and digital photo study!
I am rocking like hell, or?
Comments, critique and other stuff is welcom as ever!
Kungfoowiz Yeah thank you dude! I will go on as Villpu says (don't know what comes next, haha).
Noooothing for today! So much shame on me =( Grrrooar.
School, went to doc, learned english, took a shower, and now writing this until i go learning again ._.
I'm liking the progress, though, careful of the lines you put on your faces (such as the smiling lines about the cheeks) if you make lines too dark for things like this you make them appear less attractive- soft lines for creases and lines in the face so they have a more delicate and feminine look to them
Other than that I like how you're doing, so keep up the good work!
that's a lot of noses i like your studies
Hey dude, whats up?
Coming along nicely with all of your studies, Wondering those Is that all your doing or are you just posting the "best"
One of the best things I was told is to do hundreds of cubes and circels in perspective. They help SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I don't know if you have already been told this but I thought maybe you could get some use out of it. I think they help a lot more then you might think, at least at face value. My favorite is doing the tubling cube, Which is pretty much it sounds like, cube tumbleing through the air. I am pretty sure that Vilpuu talks about it in his manuel. Anywho keep going!
Double post monster strikes again! I didn't think the post was even going to go up, So I guess to make sure that I knew it went up it feelt the need to make two.

Diarum hey! Thats i all i do. I know, it's not enough for getting kick ass
Yeah villpuu's manual is good. Have to read more in it
Yesterday was an acrylic one day workshop Went to it and painted 2 pictures. First my lava picture, i know there a a lot of things which are not realistic, but hey, it was fun! And second a house alone in the middle of a thunderstorm :>
I know i haven't done much, i will try to focuse more again.
Is anybody out there who would like to kick my ass when i am lazy? ^^
Hey silwynar, i like the amount of studies showing up in here would like to see more pencil still lives, and more quick gestures. Once you feel comfortable with the placement of the limbs in gestures start seeing the torso and pelvis as a solid form - look at the way vilppu does this, its very helpful! One thing to watch out for is proportion in your figures, the page with the skeletons/guy holding the bow, they have very short legs.
Keep upp the work
Nineteen wasted days without any motivation.
But today i met Tasser and im full of motivation again!
We just did a few ass kicking Open Canvas Network Painting Drawings
Was awesome and i had a lot of fun
People, i think you finally got me back again

Sry, i went out with my family yesterday and then i learned for school a bit.
Monday school again. =(
Here a 2 drawings.
First one from Avatar, second one a person from deviantart.
Comments & Critique welcome, haha!
Try to focus more on what you see, not on what you think you see.
Really trace contours with your eyes and let your hand flow with it, don't think: well it's a nose and it's drawn like this: and draw. Take nothing for granted, focus on what is really there and forget what you know about the subject you're drawing.
Anyways, you are improving, and thats awesome, really like your paintings also, looks like you're handy with color!
Keep it coming!! Looking forward to more!
Help me improve my drawing skills by commenting my sketchbook
Surion Awesome thank you. Already know this with seeing and drawing from the Betty Edward book. I think i just have to draw more Thank you! You're awesome
Just 2 small pictures again. A page from my sketchbook and a small digital line drawing
I'm getting back into drawing after 2 weeks break ( T_T - So much wasted time!)
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!!! ^_^
I've got some really useful tips here:
- Try doing your lines more accuretly and loose by NOT drawing with your wrist, but with you ELBOW, and do only one line (you should practice on primitives first with this), don't make your lines hairy. Make those lines really light at first and accurate as possible, it takes a lot of patience to make light straight line.
- when drawing, for example cube, place dots where the beginning and the ending should be, than using your elbow try ghosting the line, when you'll feel confident place the line carefully.
If you'll practice that for sometime you'll understand better how to manage your line) I swear to you) It has been tested on myself)
Cheers! DRAW OR DIE!))
Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook; you have some nice studies going on here. Keep it up;
keep on drawing man...like the last face....
i like your ambition with the environment stuff! I like the soldiers coming over the hill as well, feels like a good composition for a great painting in the future if you get time to paint it up
Kristoff Thank you! Yeah i have to practice more my lines And yeah! Draw or Die, thats our motivation!
Deadlines. Thank you dude!
Boywonda1 Thank you! I am happy you like it! ;D
cgaddict Yeah loomis is so far the best book on this subject, but using more than one book is the best opinion i think!
8bit Thank you! Butt ohhh, which picture with soldiers coming over a hill?
Uhhm, had to do a lot for today and i have 2 guitar lessons each monday again I am so happy.
Perhaps i do something later, if not next update tomorrow
Where are your updates for today? Are you lazy?
I play guitar, too BUT I draw AND play guitar (mostly 2 or more hours a day!)
Update! Update! Update! ^^
Sorry I just need more input from CA.org, it is SO motivating!!
Checked out your sketchbook from the start. Great Improvements loved the Navi sketch. Keep at it. Great work.
When drawing faces using a method of constuction is a good Ide. Like the one you use. But make sure that it isnt to complex. You sometimes make the forehead a bit bulky and big and the jaw-line is often very slender and thin. Even models that are very skinny have a wider jaw. look at alot of faces and do studies of them. And really look at every segment and how it relates to the whole face. Do alot of them. It will help you draw faces from imagination. Keep it up and dont let school slow you down. cheers.
