Hello to everyone
I have some last sketches and I want to show them to world
I have long loads in DragonAge game, and while some area loads I draw...
I'm not far in this game, it's very interesting to play so I try to do every quest I found and to see all areas I can see...
The end of first chapter
Some new sketches. My study already begun so now I have not much time to draw for myself.
Thank you friend!
You are right, I need to do more lifesketches... so I'll try!)
Here my only digital work for last time (exept sketch for DSG)...FanArt again, this is Wynne from DragonAge
eh something is wrong)
I have some sketches of my mom and grandmom this time)
and one still unfinished fanart of battlemage...
My study and works for fun during this days.
It was very nice month. It included St. Patrick's week... so I don't have too much stuff to show. But at the begining of april I worked, so I hope I have some progress.
This was my first sketch for composition... (i study for textile artist)
and I have 2 digital paintings:
Morrigan from DA: O
and Jet.A.D from one of my favourite bands Troll Bend Fir
I gather all my last watercolor head studies... (There are works which was made in 10 minutes or in two hours. There are me, my grandmother, mom and our model from art classes )
Also I made some digital sketches.
this is sketch of my dress
and I still work on this)
I finished my old DragonAge fanart - Elementalist
From my sketchbook
This is my illustration for our composition lessons (gouache)
I finished my elven hunter... hope one day I will be skilled enought to draw big pictures with many characters
And I start new picture (for now they are like 2 pretty cows with one corn and wings)))
I have finish two works
my pretty one-horned cows
and fan-art of Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande from NWN-1
And now it's time to life-drawing!
great potential in your work. Leilana in post #3 is my favorite.
Keep working, and study anatomy as much as you can while also working on your own staff from imagination. Together it will rock!
Thank you friends for your comments!
matty_mcmullen watercolour is my great problem and your words give me hope that I have progress!))
Ivan Turcin thank you!) For now I will try to focus more on life drawing.
So I made few scraps of my legs and arms
and this is Gingers from my sketchbook, I drawed them on lections, where I usually have only couple of felt pens
I like elves and green colour and draw such things since I start drawing!) Oh I need to say that I was inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (maybe you remember heroes from Rampart? I always play on Rampart's side))
JasonHickey, thank you friend!
Ok I'll try to experiment with brushes next time, for now it's big problem for me to draw freely especially in digital... Very good idea transfer technique from lifedrawing to digital!
This is my little portrait session with grandma)) Her old friend rang to her and they were talking for a long time. It gave me chance to draw her again)
And because today is my last free day before study I was forced to made my hometask for Composition lesson!
This is my last sketches for fashion illustration, here I tried to find optimal poses. Finally I decided to draw male figure.
Next is my works with ornament transforming. As base I took third ornament from this super blog -> http://thetextileblog.blogspot.com/2...ufactures.html
Ornament motive was transformed 3 times to represent ornament in primary, secondary and tertiary coloring (hope I write it right))
And after all — illustrations. By theory they represent clothes with this ornaments) In fact we have here two dryads and one hippie)

Today's exercises: again my grandma — Best model ever! Other contender to this Title — my cat Morrigan — is too restless.
And this time I try to do selfportraits... As you can see it is to difficult to me now — there's not any same faces on this drawings and noone of them really looks like me) Couple of drawings are really bad, but this is my result for this day.
My last trying for today to draw selfportrait. Also I remember Jason's advice about brushes. I was really brave to use them on my hairs as you can see... Anyway my dad said that it's not me on this picture) For now I think that it's easier to draw hands in rakurs than make selfportait look like you!
It was hard month to me) I just finished my 1 year in Textile Univercity...
Some plants and landscapes (all sketches) from my summer practice.
For my pity I cannot show my best works because teachers get them to fund. There are hundreds of plant drawings and things like them, I scanned only best of remaining works...
My irish dance teacher... I try to draw her, but of course she didn't looks here like she is in life...
And now I'm trying to return to digital drawing)
I thought that I may try once more to draw CHAR... Here I start my pirate captain
Hi, you have a great sketchbook! I really liked the sketches in this post - Link.
Be careful when you choose colours, you have a good mix of them in your work but they're all very dark. With that I mean, they have a lot of grey and black in them, it gives them a muddy look. Don't be afraid to use clear colours
Oh and, have you finished DragonAge yet? I loved that game My first character was a mage. So fun doing quests and talking to npc's did you hear DragonAge 2 is coming next year?
Thank you friend, it's very grate to hear it from you, because I'm really your fan you know)
Even my grandma says that my works are too dark!) It's time to do something with it...! Thank you for your comment!
Yes, I finished DA, but only main story (all my friends already finish even "Awakening", but my conscience suddenly woke up and I returned to study :/) And my character was mage too, in games from Biowar I always play for mages) I think that interesting characters and storylines are the most interesting thing in all rpg games.
This is super that 2nd part is coming! thank you for this news!)) I was afraid that next two years they will just produce add-ons)
I have plan to finish my old-started fan-art to Divinity: Ego Draconis. I didn't already finish this game, I think I'm somewhere in middle of story but the game is super! Just as it must be, because all games from Divinity seria are great. As Jason said I tried to use here some new brushes
Also I will try one more time to draw CHOW, theme is "Gaia" and I have 2 versions (but my favourite is second))
I was inspired by Keith Parkinson's painting "Earthmother") http://www.keithparkinson.com/galler...5&img=earthmot
is it something wrong with my e-mail or are you all in vacations?)
Soon I too will be far from this hot megapolis, but until this I draw! Yesterday I was in park at the east of Moscow with my friend.
My work for CHOW #205 "Gaia"
And next theme is "Father Time" I drow 2 sketches:
And I try to colour 2nd one:
I try to finish my Ego Draconis fanart:
And my last unfinished picture:
Here I try to follow your advices... use different brushes and take bright colours. Also I always was very weak in landscapes especially in digital art, so this is my training. Thank your for your advices friends I think that I have little progress!
dawnusllaw Thank you!
I try not to lose my skills... This is too hot in Moscow and I'm very lazy 0_o...But sometimes I take myself in hands and draw something (it's VERY hard to change water everytime and wash palette etc...)))
Some watercolours from this last week
my still bad scottman
Father Time (unfiinished)
and last try for CHOW which I won't be able to participate in - hacker
damn, another one is falling!))
Thank you friend
Goooodbye friends I'm going to Blacksea tomorrow and will return after couple weeks!
My last CHOW for now
I want to post some of my last drawings...
One strange day: I was very interested of corean folk costume 0___o))
(this one I finished only 2 days ago)
My evertheme — dress for irish dance.
Also one more head training...
eh. For now I can't say nothing more...! Our new educational year really hard for me — old poor woman!
I'm already tired)))
Thank you very much DefiledVisions for brushes!))
