5" statue of Modesty Blaise. A gift project for a friend who's a big fan of the British comic strip.
Started last weekend building the armature.
I'm using Super Sculpey mixed with some light blue Sculpey III. While working with Super Sculpey alone I found that with its translucency I couldn't get a clear idea of the actual surface detail once baked. Combining the Sculpey III seems to have solved this.
Let me know if you have found any tricks for getting a more opaqueness to Super Sculpey. I've seen work where Sculpey Firm has been added but do not know if this alters the overall malleability too much.
Started building her from the ground up. Treating this as bit of an anatomy study before adding clothing.
