Thanx for dropping by smuli! ... always great to hear from you. Glad you like the 'bumpy' dude.
thanks for stopping by SB! wonderful sB u got here, had a great time looking through, keep at it!
Really nice creatures/anatomy I like how you can go from these creatures to these cartoony people More more more
Hi ) Cool comic style you've got here, and I like it. Probably some anatomy issues here and there, but you'll manage it - such progress just in 4 pages ^_^ Wish you luck mate )
interesting style - keep it up!
@ snootchy - Thanx for the comment ... glad you enjoyed it!
@ ColorExcursion - Thanx, glad you like. Going between styles is what I have to do for work so it keeps me in practice.
@ Seraph Fawkes - Thanx a lot ... yep, anatomy is always a tough one but Ill keep at it
@ Rushlord - Thank you very much.
@ N E X T - thank you, glad you find it interesting.
Here is another doodle update, messy as hell ...
Thanks for visiting my SB. Awesome linework. I love those animal charicatures, especially the leopard and the lion ones. Post more of those, a cheetah perhaps!
Love the little gargoyle. All your finished work is very clean and proffessional, nice stuff.

nice portraits, some nice lines in there i likes! One thing to change up or keep things fresh, is to switch different styles of sketching, one thing i notice with your sketches is that shapes tend to be very calculated or polygon shaped. It's really liberating once in a while to just take the pencil and let your wrist and arm just freely flow on the page, might help to loosen some of the sketches. keep the goodies coming!
Hey Shambok thanks for stopping by my SB, I really like your clean lines and vector drawings and i find myself often preferring the sketches and developments more than the end painting, but theres definitely improvement with your speed sketches! Keep it up!
thanx for all the comments people ... I really appreciate the interest effort.
@ fudgeloaf - Thanx for dropping by ... glad you enjoy! As for vector drawings ... man I never draw in vectors... all the clean line stuff has been done in Painter with the scratchboard tool. I have to make these particular drawings look clean so thats the effect I go for .. might be easier in vectors but its way less interesting and it takes the fun out of drawing for me.
@ Vritra - Thank you very much! ... Glad you enjoy
@ snootchy- Glad you noticed that ... my calculated lines actually come from being way to free ... hehehe. So I guess Im overcompensating now. My previous sketches are really organic and lack a solid sense of form so I have been concentrating on emphasizing form. Ill try and combine both styles together and see what happens ... I really appreciate your observation comment!!!
@ Gilead - Really glad you like! Now I really cant wait to do some woman studies !!!
@ pixel cheetah - I haven't done any cheetahs for that project but Ill see what I can whip up
@ tasser - Thanx ... I really love sketching ... its my favourite art style.
very nice. love when i see a slight improvement with every flick of the scroll wheel on my mouse :-)
you don't shade a ton on your sketches, but it's the line quality and feature placement that really give them a nice feel. nice touch on everything, well done. i'll be subscribing to this one!
@ Joe824 - Thanx Joe824, really glad you like my doodles I used to do more shading a while before But I have been trying to concentrate on form more for now.
Here is something I scribbled this evening. Its an alien animal concept involving the combination of a few earthly animals to make something whacked ... As always I hope you guys enjoy ...
Thanx for the comments! Yep .. I do like to crosshatch ... so much so that I battle not to sometimes ... LOL! I'm really glad you can see the improvement no matter how small ... news like that really keeps me going
Some more late night doodles ...
now that's what i'm talking about that earthly animal creature is just fantasic has some hard lines mixed with the organic feely type ones, big ups!!
Hey shambok, the creature is looking nice and the volumetric approach you have going on in your sketches is making things nice and solid
Glad to see you posting again. I love your doodles. I'm hoping that stuff will rub off on me.
The blue monday effect int post94 is classic.
