Very lovely strokes. I love the way you render eyes and noses.
You're the man Kambei!!!!
I've never seen anyone sketch like that before.. looks like a tracing. Interesting.
wasabi89 - Thanks man glad you like!
Sushy - Cheers.
Mr.Ebony - Thanks man, trying to be a little 'Art Nouveau' with that.
Yefim - Thanks dude!
TrottierJS - Erm..thanks I guess! That's the thing about sketching in Photoshop/Painter, you can tidy it up afterwards.(which i do)
experimented with techniques on this - think it came out quite nice.
(hmm ....looks kinda blurry will upload a better quality vsn later)
very nice sketchbook
post 87 reminds me of the excellent stanley donwood
interesting coloring style on the latest dino. i would go for some variety with your edge sharpness
your line work is fantastic too
keep it up, post more!
Thanks for the stop by my sketchbook, always nice to get some feedback and encouragement!
And, in that spirit, you have some great environments and the values you use look right on. i love the stuff you do in broad daylight, it looks pretty accurate. I'm always nervous about painting things in daylight. Rock on!
Thank you for comment in my sketchbook kambei, your line works and painting is very great, how do you train your color??
Ian Barker - Thanks Man, Your skrtchbook is very nice also.
Fetsch - Cheers, No probs man your work is rad.
IanLlanas - Cheers Dude.
Matindas - Thanks! Just through trad painting really. Have never really study colour theory in much detail(besides a little at University).
Welcome Back CA!!..Ohh how I've missed you!!
Ok this started out as a 'quick' landscape study from reference. (but I have now added a character and extended the image to the right)
Wow crazy lines and expression, really nice!Keep it up
Erikly,Camelli- Cheers! always good to get some nice feedback from fellow artists

This is a closeup from a character i've been playing around with.
This started out as just a head.(which i started rendering) I then decided to add the body afterwards.(not exactly textbook but it seems to be working out ok)
It's been too quiet on CA since the update.
Still think they need to tweak a few things on the main SKETCHBOOKS forum page.
Seems pretty cluttered. My advice would be to make the 'headers/thread titles' larger and the rest of the text smaller.
Nim - Thanks! your sketchbook is aweomse btw.
Vinicam - Cheers dude, yeah completely agree. Hopefully they'll make a few changes.
Ok here's another WIP (this is just a close-up). About 90% traditional media. Still need to tighten up the rendering in some areas - but I'll keep the pencil marks. The final image will also contain a bird.
Very expressive eyes, love the colors!
Vinicam - Thanks man - just improved the eyes on the latest vsn. (which i will post)
Nim - Cheers Dude, your latest updates are looking great btw.
Sushy- Than You!
