So yeah, I plan to get into comics eventually. Speed and efficiency are the names of the game. So what I'd like to do is draw in graphite and then ink right over that. And I'm very well aware how to extract non-photo blue and other colors from the final product. Problem is, these colored leads suck. I hate them. They're so big and clumsy, even when sharpened ideally. And it's hard to sharpen them anyway. They love to break off in the damn lead sharpener. D: I'd rather just be using good ol' HB lead. Me and my buddy, HB lead.
The question is: Is there an eraser out there which erases only graphite? And I mean... It can't fade the ink at all. If it siphons the ink even a little, I don't want to do it. I'm convinced that there's some way, because there's plenty of mangaka shooting out a page every 4 hours, without any assistants.
