I'm starting to honestly believe for real, after seeing these threads with fail artists, it doesn't take talent to become a professional. It's all about the people you know. Now I know why I don't get work.

I think it should be pointed out that police sketch artists have to tone down their talent in cases where the eye witness didn't get a good view or cannot give a good description. If all that can be remembered was that the guy had a narrow face and weird hair then that's all that can be drawn. They have to work fast and the basics are all that matter
