Nice enviros man, are you going to use them for paint-overs?
Itz so cool to see you adding in details to the UDK's! Diggin the grafitti and lights and light haze...even newspapers blowin around (lovin the UFO story)!!
No kitty-cats though?
Ciao fer now bro-man-dood!
Your 3D work is looking good to an untrained eye like mine. Keep them coming.
Also, I like the page with the hand studies. They show some really good control over lines, my friend. But as far as your human figures are concerned, I'd say you need to work a little on the proportions and rhythm. Right now they're quite static, also, some places look thick. Not thick as in fat, or voluptuous, but just unnaturally... thick.
Sorry if that sounded strange. It's the vicissitude of receiving a crit from a complete untrained twit like me. Keep doing what you're doing. It's looking great.
Meeow Meeow! =)
Here's my first finished piece.. kinda happy to put it into my portfolio, yip there are plenty of issues with it I'm sure, but jus gotta move on and learn more more now =)
There's a process for making this in the UDK, all on my blog for anyone who's curious =)
Jus one page tonight.. trying to get back into the swing of things =)
Wasabi89 - Ah cheers bro! =) Much appreciate the compliment on my stuff! =)
FUSHANDCHUPS - Heey bro! =) Cheers for the ups! =) Nope, the UDK is for University, we had to make an environment using Maya, never really used it before tbh, we had to learn on the job =) Then put it into the UDK as I'm focusing on art for video games =) Cheers Cheers for the support bro! =)
Ludic - Lull! =) Aww bro, I really appreciate your nice compliment, I'm glad you like them =) You are rocking it in the studies too, I'm very impressed with how you doing stuff =) Cheers Cheers bro! =)
Jephyr X - Ninjikitty friend! =) Haha, lull, the graffiti is secret ninjikitty code =) =) Ahhh, no time to make kitties yet.. Mmm.. I made some kitties for the moment though, check here and here =) Cheers bro! =)
Vritra - Aww thank you for the compliment bro! =) Thank you for feedback on figures, I'll start to work more rhythm and keep working on the proportion, really want to get them wayyy better =) Cheers for that bro =) No it's okay bro, you guys are welcome to say how you feel about stuff, please don't feel scared to say something, I'm quite okay with it =) You're not untrained, far from it!!! =) So wouldn't put yourself down bro =) Hope you are keeping well =) Cheers Cheers! =)
Found this cheap paper from Asda to draw on.. it's nice! =)
So.. mmm update on Uni.. basically I feel majorly depressed by the course.. I don't think it was anything that I'd hoped, and about the most positive thing I can say is that I made some friends, but I honestly can't wait to finish now, we're on the last assignment which will be finishing in about May next year. =)
However! I'm going to make the most of it, so atm I'm teaming up with a friend to do my Final Uni Project on a fantasy/undead theme, something quite inspired by Diablo 3, as I'm really impressed by the mood and themes they've manage to achieve, so that's my objective for my final, rather than to emphasise cliches!
The environment will most likely be made in Unreal UDK =)
So Without further adue, I'm going to forge ahead with fleshing stuff out! =)
Cheers Guys! =)

Hey there mate,
How are you doing man. Its been a long time!
hey those UDK levels are just great. Especially the back Alley. I really like the 'Terrain' as well as the 'Naga Temple' too, although they could use some details.
# 1241 - Morrigan!!
btw i must say that your line-work has improved, but there's always room for improvement. Keep up the good work and ill drop in to check your next update.
Line quality improved indeed. The studies are paying off.
And those eyes on this last portrait, simply fantastic.
Good choice that you went black and white, gives the piece
some nice creepy feeling. I guess it's the Blair Witch when
she was young and sober.
Dunno what any of this is.. if you guys can tell that's great =) I'm gonna have some weetbix now =) See you guys =)

i like the post n:1299
it seems shape working give results no ?
did u tried the shape drawing method ? It's a painting method. Instead of beginning with lines and measuring proportions, you eyeball the shapes and shading and you correct the shapes according to the shape next to it. Your constantly correct until you image is done and of course it's more fun than lines/measuring method
the portrait in 1294 is nicely shaded (still proportions fixes)
