Here's mine =D
in Photoshop, about an hour and 15 minutes from a really crappy webcam and a bright desklamp for some "dynamic" lighting?
loving everyones contributions
So yeah, the day didn't end well.. I started late and had to fight tiredness, lack of motivation and a splitting headache. But at least i participated!
an hour or so, webcam + imagination.
Greetings from Portugal!
Great work everyone, really enjoying watching this and how this day is growing so much in the ca community!
This is my second year participating, hope to see it grow even more next year, and sure as hell i'll be around!
Rock on people!

Lurve these everybody! So good.
May only have a chance to do a self portrait photograph this year. Way too long of a Halloween, hence the long exposure. I'm a total zombie at this point.

HOT DAMN! Absolutely awesome to see all the cool SPs! Luv this day.
Whew. Here's me - all big lips, jaw, nose and forehead of me and a few of my (with a couple of playful ones) alter egos.
Painter/PS. A photo, imagination and help from a mirror.
Looks like this is my first post! Hadn't done a self portrait in ages, so this was was pretty enjoyable. Used a mirror, took about 2.5 hours.
My first post, and figured I'd start it off here. Love all the ones that people have posted so far. Used pencils and a reference photo. Took me roughly 2 hours (when not screwing around checking NFL scores, etc)
Here be I!
The medium is graphite on paper with some tweaking in Photoshop. My reference was a digital photo printed on paper. This is my first CA self-portrait. What fun!
The truth will set you free,
but first it's gonna piss you off!
Nice work everyone. This is not as exciting as most of yours out there, but here is my contribution. Cheers.

Started right after I came home from work 2night. Finished it after 1,5hours round about. Started on it on November 1, finished November 2. Hope that's acceptable. Thank you for sharing your faces boys and girls!
mirror, painter and pure ca.org loverush!
I'm 2 hours late for the 1st but I was working all day. Must make sure to get the weekend off for ISPD next year.
My effort from a mobile phone photo ref:
Guys, seriously some stellar work done here by everyone. Loads of fun & inspirational. Great thread.
Wow! There's some amazing stuff here!
Didn't have time to get to do a new painting today. Had a birthday party to attend to. So, I took a bunch of old self-portrait drawings and oil paintings I did and tried to combine them in Photoshop. I don't know if that counts. I played around with different blending modes, since I don't know how to use them. So, regardless, I definitely learned something from this. Good times!
"Contrary to the belief of the layman, the essential of art is not to imitate nature, but under the guise of imitation to stir up excitement with pure plastic elements: measurements, directions, ornaments, lights, values, colors, substances, divided and organized according to the injunctions of natural laws. While so occupied, the artist never ceases to be subservient to nature, but instead of imitating the incidents in a paltry way, he imitates the laws."-Andre Lhote
