I'm new to this site and the world of conceptual art. I'm studying Interactive Media and Game Design at WPI, following the artistic track. I've had some traditional training as far as art goes in high school but not much thereafter. I'm working very hard to attain a respectable skill set in the world of digital media. I'm particularly interested in 2D conceptual art, but have a very far way to go. I'm hoping that starting my sketchbook will accomplish two things:
1) Allow professionals and other artists in this community to share their knowledge with an aspiring artist
and 2) as a result of that watch my work and skills progress as time goes on.
I appreciate all criticism, so long as it's helpful in some way or another.
A few quick sketches, experimenting with some different approaches in style and shading.
Two more quick sketches.
