I just got my copy of Glenn Vilppu's Drawing Manual today and those of you guys here who have studied from his style will know what I'm talking about.
I'm shocked to know his approach is very different from Loomis and entirely new to me.
In chapter 1, he lists out the 4 steps for basic gesture drawing (i.e: see the action and form).
Below are some of my gestures after seeing his examples, and I am totally not sure if I even understand correctly:
Some of the poses are from PoserManiac.com and the rest are from my imagination.
Is this how it is supposed to be done? My drawings look plain weird! They look more like stickman to me! Vilppu doesn't really give lengthy or detailed explanations, though. He just shows a number of examples all done by him.
