i've already admitted my addiction.
i refuse to get help.
or change my desktop. ever.
"Steering perception? i am.
Inviting contradiction? i am."
Here's my Vista desktop, with the amazing Rocketdocket to the right, with some nice and small rainmeter skins.. I'm in the process of customizing my most used icons, the 5 first are the ones that are done though... Have to create the app icons still (from the paint tube to google sketchup)
"Welcome to the jungle!", as they say. Ok I admit it, I never heard of Rocketdocket until this thread. But it's an aaaawesoooome little toy!
Whoa there, Rocketdock looks awesome. Does it only work for Vista?
decided to check out this RAINMETER, although i got rainlendar, which im sure is the same thing...
having trouble changing the color though, seem to only be able to get white..

Crit for a crit!
Here's mine. View's from a hill I climbed one evening when bored
Mine is 24 inch HP LP2475w, very good monitor for its price (professional level color lcd panel for example)... I'm planning to buy a better one in the future, another 24incher, or a 30 incher..
Crane : Hey man here is a solution to your rainmeter text only being one colour problem:
right click on your rainmeter text that is on the desktop.
A drop down menu shall appear, scroll over "skin menu"
Another drop down menu should now appear, scroll down to "edit skin..." and click on it.
Now you shall be given a notepad document with lots of text, change the number values which correspond with the text.
The colour values seem to be in RGB something so you could go into photoshop and figure out what number you need.
Now just save the document and right click on the rainmeter text again and choose the option "refresh all"
Here is a visual guide to what you should see;
Hope this helps you out, and anybody else who has come across this problem.
finally got my desktop cleaned up and everything to where it needs to go
thanks Maestro Andres for that program works great. the wall paper usually changes a few times a week to keep me inspired, 100% of emm come from CA and imagine FX soo go make me more people.

how do you guyz take a picture of your screen and make everything show up on the picture, i tried and all i got was just my screen and the back ground
I found this on the internet, I can't remember who made it. =( If anyone knows, can you tell me so I can give him proper credit?
EDIT: It's by Jason Chan. Thanks Troubadour and Bagg!
