Very inspiring work, Seraph. I'm subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Will check your sb soon.
Here's quick 25 min sketch before work. Still keeping that victorian feel to the character. Will finish him and add more character. All done with fully opaque brush - really fond of opaque brushes for base recently. They can be harsh, but it helps to train sense of color, as you have to accurately choose tones for shades and specs.
@ Linda513 check previous page, there's a .gif with one of the ways. You can download it, open in PS and see each frame separetely.
Regarding putting more time into work - I do so, but it's mostly for main job, or for freelance, but I can't show that stuff right now.
You BEAST!!! these are awesome, love the visible strokes and the clear shapes!!! Also thanks for the tip, i am gonna assign F1 right now. Really you did great job at that test but anyway its up to their art director i guess. Lets keep up mate !!!

Oh wow I love the tower concepts Some yummy symmetry going on and they look so 3D! The concepts are very clear due to your beautiful drawing and crisp lines. The coloured piece is a triumph as is most of your colour work. You obviously have a great understanding of colour and it really shows.
I love your sketchbook a lot, will be coming again for a fab dose of inspiration. Thank you
Kirill these are great concepts!!!I also have to work on some props. Love the lines and the beautiful render. . As of some critique i could say that the perspective in some of them could be a little more careful, but thats just minor details. Keep up the good work mate
Hey guys, thanks for stopping by and leaving some love. Will do the same. As for now - some bold men, bit stylized. If you see disproportion - it mostly intentional. Mostly.

Here's new tip guys. I've made it, while doing some stuff at work. I find it's one of the best ways to make quick\good looking grass.
WOW Seraph really great works i love your paintings man!
nice progress dude
i appreciate you're sharing your personal techniques in toshop
if u want a bit of critic
it's more of a personal opinion, some of your human shading are a bit plastic, perhaps your should use less highlights. but if it's your style, forget what i said.
good luck with your nexts
The first one is sort of ent-like mother (roots and leaves, kinda woody) with child, and the second one - been practicing watercolor style brush.
Thank you all for stopping by and leaving comments! I really appreciate your support.
Haven't been here for a while now. Lovely stuff, mate! Love the color of watercolor imitation, though the face is wonky.
Alrighty then! This daughter of onelegged horse finally woks! Let's post some sketch!
Your Victorian stuff reminds me of the game 'Dishonored'. Great thread =]
I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!
