Hi guys! If you haven't seen already I'm gonna be part of a great and enlightening round table discussion tomorrow at 11am PST. I'll be showing some of my work, discussing my process, and of course my point of view . So check it out! We'll make lots of great jokes that you can tell your friends! Oh and we'll talk about art too.
Here's some stuff i did for Transformers 2. A very early concept of devastator and a dodge viper TF. There's more images that have been released so I'll be updating this thread soon with a few more.
And an illustration I did of the Reaper Boss for Infamous. The idea is this character (the reaper boss) secrets some sort of narcotic from her skin and is hooked up to a machine that pipes it across the city.
Thankyou everone for yer kind words and comments much love!
Whatup! Here's 3 more drawings from the CA Next-Gen Atelier. The Beautiful Christina and Lux from long pose and the also beautiful Julie from Portrait sesh.
Thankyou for all the warm replies! I really appreciate everyone who comes by to drop a note so Thank You! I mean it! I'll be doing some more publicly releasable stuff soon concerning things of the robotic nature. Stay tuned!
Hi CA Peeps! I'm happy to bring you some images from some
recent games i had the priviledge of working on with the ol' Massive Black.
Our studio did a substantial amount of artwork for Infamous from
SuckerPunch, Killzone 2 from Guerilla Games and last-but-not-least
Red Faction: Guerilla from Volition/THQ. I was really lucky to be able
to design many of the EDF vehicles for RFG and had tremendous fun blowing
them up and driving them around over the last few weeks while playing this
super fun game. So check it out!
For Infamous I designed the 1st boss you encounter in the game (the drippy
lady) and did some art-style tests. There's a few more things I did for this
successful recent release that I will try and post up here but there's also
much more we did as a team that we're hoping to show in the near future.
For Killzone 2 I was able to do complete overhaul on the old Drop Ship design
from Killzone 1 while working closely with Guerilla. It was a real treat seeing the
design being meticulously constructed by our very own Massive Black Shanghai studio.
They did a killer job!
If you've seen the Massive Black book you're probably familiar with the work
we've published so far for RFG. There is much more art from all 3 projects!
We're working on getting more images approved to show so I'll update the
thread as I get more!
Next, an image from my recent ImagineFX article on vehicle design. Issue 44
is still on the stands so check it out! The nice folks at Future Publishing asked
me to be a regular contributor to the Q&A section as well so look for a tiny
picture of me in the future.
Finally, I've been drawing in the mornings with the fine and talented students at
the CA Next-Gen Atelier. It's my first venture into doing a long pose so hopefully
they'll get better as I do more of 'em. The Drawing of Leena was only 2 sessions
but Jake was approx. 3 weeks.
I'll update this thread, promise!! xoxoxoxo
Red Faction: Guerilla
Finally I thought I'd Include these two concepts from the distant past of a few years ago. Some gas mask soldier dudes for a project that never got released and....
My very first concept for Massive Black! I had to do an iso view of the Discombobulator for Flagship's Hellgate: London. Meeemoriiieeeesss....
and My ImagineFX image. Your standard future tank, responding to threads from the battlefield of the future!
Here's some stuff from the archives, old as shit and mo' to come!
