New painting, roughly 3 days.
I hate painting rocky surfaces, it's 90% texture, so difficult to make it look nice.
I rarely find people who paints it as well, maybe this is why.
Hope you like it though!

excellent work man totally awesome!
(Insert witty remark here)
especially this one
absolutely great how you managed to use such a dynamic perspective, without gettingtomuch focus on the perspective itself so the image is still readable
the last piece looks great aswell, but i think it suffers of using too small and too transparent brushes - with somebig brushes and somemore expressive brushstokes it could be a blast in my opinion
Hehe, thanks Xbert!
Metal Fingers - Boyaaah!
Carakhan - Glad you like it!
Jasper_ - Yeah man, I'm having tons of fun on the streams Glad you like my sketchbook.
I wrote a post on freelancing in Sweden HERE.
Basically for anyone who lives in Sweden or is thinking about moving here for our awesome summers and 100mbit fiber broadband.
This is how you go about freelancing the legal way.
All info has been taking from the Swedish version of IRS (skatteverket) and confirmed through phone support!
And art stuff!"Freelancing in Sweden.
Is very easy.
Don’t let skatteverket or Arbetsförmedlingen fool you as they did me.
Step 1: Precautionary actions.
You will most likely have to start paying your estimated taxes starting from month 1 so before you do anything I would suggest getting a steady stream of freelance work. You’re allowed to earn 17’000SEK/year tax free so use this freebie to make sure you get enough money to pay for bills and tax monthly.
Step 2: Getting the Business Tax Bill (F-Skattsedel).
This is very easy to do. Head over to www.skatteverket.se and click your way to applying for one. When you apply you need to estimate how much money you..."
Your digis are so dynamic, I'm really digging it, keep up the good work!
"First ask yourself: What is the worst that can happen? Then prepare to accept it. Then proceed to improve on the worst.”
Agh I love your stuff so much! I hope I can get to the point where I can do such awesome stuff with no refs needed
Nice work, man! I think it's more fun to work without reference it's a nice challenge and you see what you have learned and what you really need to study instead of mindlessly googeling up pictures of every thing you are about to paint before even trying without ref.
And big thanks for the freelancing in Sweden post. I book marked it for when I'm about to jump into the big sea of freelancin'!
Delmar - Glad you like it! Thanks for the crit!
Dreoilin - Just study everything! It's that simple, hehe
alexson - It's so much more fun to draw without reference. It's also a good practice when you're learning to paint your picture without reference, the look up reference of the areas you were struggling with and redraw them.
I do that for most commission work to make sure it's top notch!
New painting! Ashe and Alistar from League of Legends teaming up!
Didn't save that many steps I'm afraid! :|
p sage - true dat!
NickyBeats - Thanks! glad you like it! I'm mostly happy with it myself, still ironing out some stuff though :>
Some study pages from my sketchbook focusing on muscles.
