GOOD POINT! I'm seeing a lot of monsters coming through. I know everyone's interpretation of the Bogeyman will be different, but emphasise CHARACTER and PERSONALITY rather than 'grrr' and 'argh'. C'mon, give it some expression. Visceral stuff is fun, but as Emerging says, this is CHOW not COW. Is he sneaky, wicked, tempting, highly strung, sinister? Not being humanoid does not mean no character...
Edit: Having said that, if he has no face, expression would be hard I 'spose, so give it through posing. I know it's tricky, but not everything in life is made of candyfloss and strawberries.
