Hey y'all good evening,
I was doing some traditional inking practice this evening using a couple of microns and copy paper to trace on, getting an image from my sketchbook. Normally I'd use a lightbox when it comes to traditional, however my book does not open flat enough to lay over a lightbox or surface without having the sketchbook shifting around. My ceiling lamp, giving some decent lighting (using a daylight bulb) does not pickup all the lines underneath the copy paper. I have no vellum/trace paper in stock and plenty of copy.
This is frustrating. Is there anyone here who's done this and found a way to better the situation? A short desklamp with a sunlight bulb? I've been thinking of grabbing one over the weekend, so let me know!
