I'm a sophomore at CCAD, illustration major with minor in media studies.
Most of these were projects I did for homework this past fall semester, though a couple of them I finished off and enhanced later on during winter break.
Most of these are hybrids of traditional media and digital media. (More info about 'em here: http://kirsten-zirngibl.cghub.com/images/)
--The first attached image will be in Expose 7.
--The last attached image got into this year's Society of Illustrators (ironically, I did it this summer for CA's Environment of the Week contest, which came in far from winning. )
I originally posted these on DeviantArt (which generally lacks professional opinions), and on CGHub (where I've received no feedback thus far).
I guess what I want to know is-- is this body of work too eclectic due to all the different mediums and subjects? Do all of them look like they were done by different artists? I tried to "make them my own" as much as I could for these things that were homework assignments.
I also welcome opinions/critiques on any of 'em.
