You get to draw a figure digitally at your school? What school is this? This sounds awesome.
Do the teachers explain the importance of this study because I'm thinking of offering my school to start doing it to?
How long did the figure paint take? I've been considering doing one of those too but our model doesn't pose longer than 45mins...
MeteorCat I study at the Wackers Academie in Amsterdam, and I asked one of the teachers if I could bring my tablet to one of the figure drawing classes to try it out.
Eightball Thanks, yeah I haven't been doing that much imaginative work lately.
Cranberry Uhm, I think between 1,5 and 2 hours. I forgot my power cord for my laptop so my battery died during class and I had to switch back to charcoal.
Another still life done in oils at school.

Really cool stuff, I'd like to see more texture, I thought those bunnies were rocks because everything is equally soft. Also if feels like a leg is missing on the (bear?) I keep getting the feeling that he's going to fall forward to balance his feet, or that his back leg is blending into the front one. Really love #484, I thought it was Malfoy shooting up at first O.O
carakhan Thanks, good points. I was not aware Malfoy was into heroine ^^
devin Thanks, great to hear.
MeteorCat Thank you.
Okay, so some of these I've already posted. But I went back to my parent's house this weekend and used my dad's camera to take some better pictures. So I think this time the colors are more accurate.
What I'm posting now is a selection of some of the work I've done so far at school this year. Most of it ended up in the trash, this is what survived.
Nice studies and the design of this last one is preety interesting.

I see you also study @ wackers. Care to join up for a sketchmeet in Amsterdam somewhere in janauri? We could try to get some people from the Netherlands thread to join us.
keep it up. when you can apply the helmet study to a painting, it would be awesome.
