thanks for stopping by my sketchbook.
I can't say im in a position to give any critique just yet.
im self taught aswell, altough in the end it doesn't matter if you went to artschool or not.
I too, was addicted to videogames. Fortunatly i threw them away since joining the crimesome daggers.
never felt better.
Make it a habbit of being very consistent with updating your sb.
and improvement WILL come.
It's like an AA meeting for videogamers around here! I have to stay away from stuff like WOW, period- I know my limits. So I do less intense games, nothing open ended, nothing that requires too much online involvement. The fact of the matter is, I lost a lot of time to games. Now I paint and draw: I'm much happier. When you beat a game, you have the thrill of beating it, but then it's gone, and you are looking for the next thrill. When you create, you have something tangible to show for it. It's much more fulfilling, and you don't have that empty feeling ever (like you just lost a chunk of your life). So keep it up, and remember, the better you get here, you are "leveling up" your skills. You just inspired me- I'm gonna go grind out some art. And all of us video game junkies will be here to support you, so just do it. Oh, and you have some real talent I think! I like your style. What are you using? This PS? Painter? Just curious. You have chosen some neat perspectives in your work. Hmmm... I'll be back to check on you: good stuff here.
