Idiot Apathy, I'll post some stuff from Riddick as soon as Atari is okay with it! There are some really cool ones in there, the concept guys really pulled through on this one.
Jason Ross, agreed, Painter and ArtRage really work well together I think, I can't quite let go of painter yet!

A real shame you don't get the chance to do more
Any chance of seeing that article about artrage any time soon? thanks!
WOW, THATS ARTRAGE, pls tell me that most of that wasnt done in artrage, your paintings are amazing bro, WOW, now I see why your art director, just amazing.

JesArt Sketchbook, go have a gander..
WOW !! fantastic job , love the way you paint volumes , loves colors and composition ,the feeling is very strong with your art . Yep , this is what I call painting
Congratulations on the game, Mattias! Mr Art Director
I've been trying ArtRage too a couple of times, and I find it very frustrating. The oil paint feels useless above 4 per cent load, sometimes it blends with other paint sometimes it don't, sometimes the stroke never ends, the palette knife is super crap... it's very alluring, as in, on the surface AR looks like it will be Painter without the confusing myriad of options. But it's extraordinarily difficult to control. I find myself noodling strokes all the time, cause they're not coming down how I'd like them to.
In other words, I look forward to your introductory article
And of course, there's no mistaking your brilliant hand in these. Not to mention your face. You seem more haggard - must be all those meetings with ignorant designers, eh?
Great! (Did I say that already?)
If that last nude were in oils it would go for 10 grand. Not to slap a pricetag on it, but that is a quality piece of work.
Wait, is that last piece oil? I can't tell. And if it is oil, forget what I said before about price. I'd say its about in the 800 dollar range. Which... I just happen to have on me.
Thanks for showing,
At least Icarus tried!
My Process: Dead Rider Graphic Novel (Dark Horse Comics) plus oil paintings, pencils and other goodies:

Fantastic paintings Mon, it's always a treat to see new work from you. Thanks for sharing.
I think the third one is very interesting
The lighting in it is phenomenal
the first one, his expression is well done
Yes the nude, she's gorgous!! Don't let Kev F get off so cheap either, she's worth much more! I really don't know how you found the time to do these and art direct, that's huge and the textures in the game are amazing, the influence of you is very much apparent in the game.
