A quick introduction of myself. I'm a Senior in High school and I'm leaning toward becoming an animator or Illustrator. And I'm readying my Art for portfolios.
I think I finally figured out my AP Art concentration, but I do need some tips when it comes to digital painting and adding texture. My original aim was to make it look like it'd be in a storybook. That's sort of the deal with the wallpaper texture in the background.
My first is suppose to be "Flying Fish" I original hadn't intended for it to be taken this way, but that's sort of what people saw. I do plan on adding more fish to fill that space and maybe some mountain silhouettes in the background. I want to adjust the wings a bit, too.
My second piece I plan on entering is this one. I did this one Junior year and it became popular around school. It Very messy and the shark pose doesn't seem too interesting. I planing on redrawing this one and coloring it digitally. Somebody said that adding too much detail in the cards would be too distracting, what are your opinions?
